Unfortunately from arrival it didn’t start well. Prior to arrival we were given a discounted parking code that had expired and was told on arrival that they no longer give codes out despite giving an expired code via email before arrival. Room is dated and needs an upgrade. Bed was very soft and uncomfortable. Cleanliness wasn’t great but we ignored it as we weren’t in the room long. Breakfast was ok, but overall poor and wouldn’t stay again.

Love this hotel, close to everything. Train station is close by, room is clean, the front desk staff very nice and helpful. Had a great time.

Room and hotel clean if a little dated. Shower a little difficult to operate. Staff polite and helpful. Breakfast ok but had the world’s slowest toaster. Small choice of different breads and pastries. Only eggs on offer were fried.

Lovely building and friendly staff ...

The Angle has seen better days. It’s clear it was once a lovely hotel but it is now rather tired and needs refurbishing. We were upgraded to a suite and our room was spacious but the shower was cold. All the staff were very friendly, it has a nice bar and the breakfast was good and inexpensive compared to other hotels. The hotel is well situated being only a short walk to the shops and the rugby.

We booked the hotel as part of a treat for my father’s birthday. Their stay was absolutely perfect and they loved how clean the hotel and their room were. Will definitely book the Angel for myself and family occasions again

The breakfast was awful, never a full choice of food, you waited for 2 or 3 items by which time the other item were gone. The staff that we spoke to were very nice and helpful

A warm and friendly welcome from the receptionist who also very kindly gave me a free upgrade! However the building is very dated and could do with a refurb. A word of warning that it is very loud outside throughout the night, appreciate that it’s also centrally located so that’s the trade off. Overall good stay for one night

Had an offer on this Hotel so it was great value for money. The decor is very tired but the Hotel is in a great location and we enjoyed our short stay. We were offered a, reduced rate breakfast at £10 a head which was good value and very enjoyable.

Okay for an overnight stay, spacious room, bathroom clean, comfortable bed & a tasty breakfast.

Everything was excellent, from the reception services, clean room, nice breakfast and the location is superb. Just a few minutes walk to the mall.
