Staff were lovely. There was building across street with 30 foot high lumber structures which blocked any view of the harbour for 5 blocks either way…plus 2 huge cranes.
Construction jackhammers from 7am until 7 pm.
The room had 2 comfortable beds, but only 2 hard wooden chairs to sit on. There was not one drawer in any dresser or cabinet including the bathroom to store anything, so all toiletries, clothing, medication were on display on the small wooden table, beside the tv, or on the bathroom sink.
Soundproofing was not good…..could hear the upstairs tenants walking across the floors any time that they were there.
The building in the inner harbour had been ongoing for months…..I think Expedia should have been aware of this and mentioned it in the advertisement……I would never stay there again and will not be using Expedia again as they charged outrageous prices for a substandard room…..Expedia also charged twice as much for parking as the hotel did…..very unhappy, as I usually use them for my annual visits to Paris, but never again.
