This is a very special place and is well worth the stay!

Excellent location. Super helpful staff. The restaurant has great food. We got an actual room key! We stayed in the older part of the hotel (circa 1640). Rooms were comfortable and spacious. The spa was a great find.

Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Asked for an assessable room as I use a mobility scooter. The room was ideal but we didn’t have a balcony or patio which we had booked which was disappointing. Used the pool which was quite cold and was very deep, no shallow end. We had breakfast included in our package which was continental and not to my liking but that is a personal opinion. We had 2 snack meals in the garden which were ok. The restaurant was quite expensive and the choice was limited. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful property in the wonderful town of Celle

Staff was friendly and accommodating. It was very close to the town Center - so as a hotel from which to explore Celle, it was great. We were in the original building (16th century), as opposed to the modern extension. The ceilings were very low, and there was a bit of a smell from the bathroom.

Great hotel, would have rated 5 stars but we stayed there on a Monday - restaurants closed, limited dinner options in the bar lounge. Long wait for everything. Beverage prices excessive for the quality (e.g., Grauburgunder by the glass @ EUR 11/100ml would have to be remarkable; the wine on offer was of low complexity, flat, not fresh)

Absolutely beautiful hotel! The staff was amazing. We arrived late at night and the staff was so helpful with everything. I wish I could have stayed another day!

Grand old Hotel, close to all facilities.

Great hotel. Awesome staff, bar, pool, sauna and overall environment. Elevator seemed a bit shaky as we got stuck in it multiple times and had to press the floor button a couple of times to get it to let us out. The only real complaint was that the pillows were really too soft (I know right) but it was like there was nothing to support my head while sleeping so they were way to soft with no support. Woke up feeling like I had whiplash because of the lack of support. Minor complaint I suppose. Overall great stay and would recommend.

Fantastic place and amazing service. Friendly, worked with us as foreigners in their country for the first time, and bent over backwards taking care of us. Highly recommend it. Also, LOVE the lady that cleaned our room and took care of us…like a loving mother.

Very nice hotel in a great location with easy access to Celle. We stayed Monday night, a bit unfortunate, as their supposedly very good restaurant is closed Mondays. At arrival we were given an “upgrade” though it seemed more was a “downgrade” from the room type we had booked. Very strange. But quickly fixed. Otherwise all good and friendly service.

Arrived early evening having only just placed my booking 20 mins earlier! Was greeted by very friendly and helpful receptionist who carried all my bags to my room in old part of hotel. The room was beautiful and comfortable with very lovely furnishings and it had a nice creaky floor! The receptionist put the heating on which instantly started working and there was underfloor heating in the bathroom. Bed and bedding was very clean and comfortable and the room was so quiet. I ate in the their Italian restaurant and the menu offered interesting options and the meal was exceptional. After a sound nights restful sleep I enjoyed an incredible breakfast in palatial surroundings - there was even champagne on offer! The staff at this hotel couldn’t have been more helpful and if I ever pass this way again I would certainly try and book this hotel.
