It was totally fine.

The harbour view from this hotel is superior to many other hotels in St. John's as you can see out the narrows. The included breakfast vouchers were not given to us when we checked in and I had to go request them. There were a few minor maintenance issues with the shower and the room wasn't entirely cleaned before we arrived as there was a dry cleaning receipt and a pair of shoes in the wardrobe in the room. Overall it was an enjoyable stay, and the staff were generally excellent.

Breakfast choices were limited and expensive. Not all are single business travellers. We are two vacationers. Two luggage racks and two comfortable chairs would be nice.

Reception staff could be hit and miss. Room cleaning staff were excellent. Having the bar and restaurant run as a franchise is not ideal. Limited opening hours were restrictive.

Fung Chu was very helpful with checking in our party of 4. Excellent customer service. The room was clean and the location was convenient. Enough parking.

Very central and close to the downtown experience. Rooms clean and nicely decorated Would highly recommend. It would have been even nicer is we had a harbour view.🙂

The panoramic view of the harbour was exceptional both from the room and restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpfully. Close proximity to the downtown core. Highly recommended hotel.

Good location didn’t get room I was confirmed for, no lower floor no bath tub. Room had terrible view/noise from overlooking the parking lot. Upon arrival window open… windowsill and telephone dusty and dirty… window looked as if it had black mold inside… breakfast was overpriced, 4.00 for toast 3.00 for an egg, a 9,00 dollar fruit bowl had small orange cut up and unpeeled, a few grapes add a slice of melon and chunk of pineapple no berries ! Presentation looked last minute. Sam at desk was however helpful . !

Clean room, friendly staff underground parking. Breakfast was not included, we ate one morning it was very good but expensive. Very good location!

This was a fabulous hotel! We had a great time here. Top notch location, the restaurant was delicious, and we really appreciated the staff. Would 100% stay here again.

The Sparo restaurant is excellent. Breakfast with a view and attentive staff. The location is great, close to Signal Hill, the Battery, the harbour and downtown but very quiet. Perfect place to enjoy St John's.
