Hotel is nice, it’s a bit dated but staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Our beds were comfy and all the amenities were great. The room needed a deep clean, there was a splatter of coffee or something on one of the walls from a previous guest. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Spacious room, very clean, amenities options were great! Despite a few downsides (had to pay for all the amenities offered, like using tennis court, indoor relaxation pool, bikes etc. [fortunately they were not expensive]) we still give it a 10/10 for overall experience! We explored lots of the island and looked for different beaches however, not sure if it was just off- season, no beaches compared to the beauty of the one offered at the hotel - clean, scenic and calming. We loved our stay :)

Beautiful beach and pool area in a quiet area. Hotel is pretty far from town and food options, but there is a restaurant there. Pool is cold and closes at 4:00 in the winter. Every amenity and activity at the hotel cost extra, which is odd, be cause you should be able to use their indoor relaxation pool (the only heated pool), mini golf, tennis courts, kayaks etc without having to pay additional fees. You can buy a field pass that's good for your whole stay and includes tennis, mini golf, and standard bikes, along with a 50% discount to use the indoor pool. However, the field house where you can buy the pass is closed by check in, so you can't buy it the first day you are there. Also, the lifeguard requires lifejackets in the swim area and he wouldn't let us snorkel beyond the swim area where all of the fish are. Felt very restrictive, but the beach was beautiful just to relax on.

The hotel was beautiful with stunning views. We unfortunately had rain the entire time we stayed, but the hotel was amazing and I would definitely stay here again when I return to Okinawa.

Very good hotel with beach front access. Would recommend arriving with a car as access to the property is remote and not easy access to public transportation. Otherwise good stay

This was our honeymoon trip, and it simply would not have been as perfect as it was, had we not stayed at this hotel! If you don’t stay at Hotel Nikko Alivila you are truly missing out. This hotel and all of their employees are truly magical. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, every inch of the property. Every staff member met us with kindness, respect, and was always willing to help. They were so accommodating, whether we were speaking English or our little bit of Japanese. The pool and the beaches are outstanding. The breakfast buffet is 100% worth the price. You have three different restaurants you can choose from every morning. The food was always delicious, no matter the time of day. You can have the hotel send you a taxi at the airport to get you to the hotel and then rent a car through the hotel, they make it so simple for anyone traveling! We hope to make it back to this hidden gem one day! Thank you Hotel Nikko Alivila!!!

Good for breakfast options and polite staff, English a barrier at times but not an issue. Beach is nice, smallish swimming area and balcony views are very nice. Popular with young children but pleasant stay all around.

Nice property right on the beach. Good place for snorkeling and see fishes in the tide pools. Multiple dining options. A bit away from anything. Need a car to travel around. There is a nice pizza buffet place close by.

It was an incredible stay, start to finish. Beach was amazing, it was walkable to other restaurants. We didn't rent a car, but ubers / cabs were super easy. We reached out for a same day booking after being unhappy with another hotel. You guys booked us the corner unit on the 9th floor, one of the most beautiful views we have ever had. This was our honeymoon, and you guys literally saved our trip! Thank you for the amazing hospitality.

Hotel Nikko Alivila – 5 Stars Hotel Nikko Alivila is a fantastic resort in a prime location, situated mid-island in Okinawa. It offers the perfect balance—easy access to the quieter, scenic northern areas, yet still close enough to Naha for cultural sites like the Okinawa Peace Memorial Museum and some downtown excitement. The hotel itself is packed with amenities and activities. There’s a stunning white sand beach with crystal-clear water, paddleboarding, Sea-Doo rentals, and even tubing behind boats. The pool is spotless, and the tiki bar serves great cocktails in a laid-back setting. We stayed on the top floor of the North Wing, and the sunset views over the chapel were absolutely breathtaking—don’t miss it if you can book this room! Dining is excellent. We tried the Ryukyu/Japanese restaurant on-site, and the food was both authentic and delicious. Just next door, there’s a shopping center with a cozy coffee bar (surprisingly playing country western music!) and some great casual eats like burgers, burritos, and sandwiches. The staff were phenomenal—genuinely attentive, friendly, and abundant. You feel very well taken care of from the moment you arrive. One tip: rent a car. There’s no public transit nearby, and taxis or Ubers would add up quickly. I was a bit nervous about driving on the left side, but it was easy to get used to—and totally worth it for the flexibility. In summary, this hotel exceeded expectations.
