An excellent hotel, beautiful outside seating areas, a wonderful spa, outdoor thermal pool. Grand public areas and lovely bedroom. 20 minute walk into the centre of Bath. Plenty of parking. An excellent stay!!!

Room was clean. Was a long way from centre of Bath so we had to get an uber/taxi each day.

Loved every moment and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful setting within the grounds, and well maintained hotel. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and professional. I needed a few more Vegetarian options...not Vegan...on the menu, however, I was able to find something. Nevertheless, I would go back to this lovely hotel, with a short drive into the City Centre.

Couple of small points that let the 5 star feel down - staff were incredible and lovely to interact with. Spa was nice - but few things broken over the 3 days was there. Car parking was just about ok with a full hotel. but overall - really nice stay - great place and location - would return if good offers to be had.

Grand building, but seems slightly dated and tired. The room was clean enough but had outdated furniture, TV etc. The WiFi was too slow and unstable to be usable, which coupled with the lack of phone signal was quite annoying. Breakfast was chaotic and not up to the standard we would've expected. Lots of guests waited for a long time for coffees, teas etc which didn't arrive. Most of the buffet was empty at middle of service. The spa was quite nice and had a decent pool and sauna. Overall not 5* quality.

Not a 5star as advertised!!! Average 3star. Good location and great to have parking. Breakfast poor quality. Rooms nothing fancy and showing wear and tear. Full of dust behind furniture

The hotel is very nice and the grounds are beautiful, staff are very good, helpful and friendly, However the spa and pool are in need of a refurbishment/clean, some of the furniture in are room needed replacement, more like 4*, however still very nice place to stay,

Exceptionally clean room. Swimming pool and spa area great. Restaurant and bar had food choice. Quite expensive though for size of portions.

We arrived and got put in a small room where the windows wouldn’t open and the camp bed for our daughter was broken, but after a disappointing start we were moved into a much nicer room with the staff being very lovely about it. The rest of the stay was wonderful, it’s a short stroll into Bath Centre, the spa whilst very busy and cramped at times was nicer when it was quieter, the breakfast room was quite special although the fruit selection could have been a bit broader the hot breakfast was delicious. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful, all in all we had a very nice stay and would definitely stay again.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room (courtyard suite) was tired- chairs needed cleaning and foam in seats replacing, the wooden furniture was chipped. The spa was not good, staff were on phones and chatting at the reception area, meanwhile the changing rooms were full.if discarded slippers and towels and leaves from outside. The pool and decking area was also not kept clean and didn't look cared for (paper cups, weeds (nettles) and empty bin bags. There was a member of staff sweeping at the time we were in the pool but he wasn't doing it particularly thoroughly and swept around piles of seeds and leaves from the trees. The spa terrace and changing rooms were too small for the number of people using them so it didn't feel very relaxing. The hotel terrace was a nice, calm place to sit, as was the lounge and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was disappointing. Continental was 20 and there was very limited choice of pastries, meats, cheese and bread. The cooked was £26 and didn't feel like much more than I would get at a premier inn breakfast, bacon was pale, packet hashbrown and watery scrambled egg.fab location for bath city centre and front gardens were relaxing and well maintained. Not good value for money and disappointing for a 5 star hotel.

Lovely hotel, Some staff very welcoming - the bar man and the waiter at breakfast went above and beyond. The room however was very warm and we could not get the air conditioning to work - even with the window open it was unbearable. The bathroom sink was a bit limescaley for my liking in what is classed as a high quality hotel. Overall the stay was lovely

Property is a little tired and could do with some decorating. Careful when purchasing drinks from the bar as some bar staff will charge for service ( I’d understand more if they bought the drink to me in the lounge), only noticed when the same round of drinks were different prices. It’s a nice place in a good location, taxi into Bath is around £10. Staff are friendly enough.

The hotel is in a good location with great facilities, spa, car parking, good bar. The rooms are a bit tired and could benefit from a refurb but overall it is very good value for money. We enjoyed our stay and the spa facilities and our room had a lovely view.

Overall stay was fab, staff were amazing and the place is very welcoming. We had a spa day and overnight stay which was amazing the only thing I will say is the spa amenities could do with a revamp like the steam room and sauna area

The staff really made this stay special… particularly the restaurant staff. We arrived and had no trouble parking - I think if busier it could be an issue. The check in was smooth and the receptionist were really helpful. The room was lovely - the hotel and the grounds are stunning. Food was exceptional as was the service. Will definitely look to stay again!
