Great Hotel

Lovely setting and beautiful grounds. Lots of building work going on and rooms in need of an update

Loved the bar area, good view of the golf and the restaurant was excellent.

We enjoyed this fantastic location and thought it was excellent value for money. Our only complaint relates to the Coffee machines at breakfast. The coffee was tasteless and needs to be properly percolated with a better quality of ground coffee beans. Table service for coffee would be much better.

Lovely building. Lovely bedroom and bathroom. Challenging golf course. This ticks a lot of boxes.

Excellent relaxing weekend with the family.

Food lovely but no salad style options

Most of the staff were lovely. Arrived to a cracked bathroom sink. Air con failed the first night in very high temperatures. Reported it the next morning and we were moved. Breakfast good but understaffed and most things were empty at peak time so you had to wait for the poor staff to keep up.

Clean room.Check -in staff extremely helpful changing my room to a golf course view and carrying our luggage to our room.Breakfast was very good with lots of choices.Restaurant a bit pricey but otherwise a really relaxing two day break.

2 day break was really good could not fault it will definitely be back.

Asia the cleaner for the room did a fabulous job.

The Hotel is a treat for the eyes and a great place to relax in the many rooms. A beautiful bar and a great breakfast kept us satisfied after a day of exploring the area. A super comfortable bed made our stay even better. The golf course looks beautiful and the hiking trails are interesting. Easy to park your car. The staff were helpful and very polite. Thank you Staley Hall for our stay.

Excellent choice of food and bar facilities

Great facilities included breakfast was great could also upgrade to things like eggs Benedict, spa was clean and facilities good, hardly any children which was great for us too

There was a wedding event the same weekend so staff were slow to attend to any issues but they did get sorted

Yes beautiful

Lovely building, felt very welcoming. Large buffet breakfast was extensive. Some of the younger bar staff struggled with interaction, I thought.

Lovely location near Hexham with stately home vibes and comfortable bedrooms. The bar overlooks the golf course and has lots of nooks and crannies to settle in with a glass of whatever to people watch. The restaurant has a very good menu and the staff are attentive and make sure all is OK with your meal. Breakfast is self serve with full platters of tasty food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was excellent although if you go late not everything is replenished even though it is 30mins before finishing!

Ok stay, hotel and rooms bit dated, lovely breakfast but service at other restaurants not great
