Stayed 1 night (12 hours), so didn’t have chance to use any facilities. Generally ok, lots of free parking space on site, location easy to find and close to Derby Road with amenities. Can take around 30 mins to get into city. Reception staff pleasant. Only issue was we needed dental kit, expected a 4 star hotel to offer this for free. But was chargeable at £2! For that reason I would rate as a 3 star hotel comparable to Premier Inn.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this Novotel hotel. I had expected it to be a bit down market, but it was far from it. The location is great, less than a minute off the M1 with no traffic noise. Parking was free with ample space. The hotel was clean and although in a 70s looking building the interior was modern and well maintained. The reception staff were all super helpful and my room was spacious, very clean with a comfortable bed and air con/heating that worked! The shower was spacious, hot and powerful and there was a separate toilet area. Breakfast was excellent. As I said I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed and would have no hesitation in staying here again. Well done, all at Novotel Nottingham/Derby. 👏👏

Standard hotel. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Location not particularly inviting but convenient for access to Attenborough Reserve.

Really appreciated their thoughtfulness. We stayed here to avoid the heatwave because of my son’s medical condition. I had booked a queen‑size room since it was the only option available, but I asked if we could stay in a twin room and explained our situation. They kindly prepared a room with two single beds for us, and it was clear that they took great care to make us comfortable. We ended up staying an extra night because we felt so relaxed during a difficult time. It turned into an unexpectedly lovely little holiday for us. Thank you so much.

Very friendly, quietish and well located hotel close to the M1 and yet within just a couple of miles from the Derby canal which makes a pleasant walk.

I tried to reschedule my stay due to the red heat warning. Expedia tried to contact the hotel several times but failed. I ended up paying for a stay that I was unable to use.

Room was not sound proof heard so much noise, slamming of doors.

Unfortunately there was black mould in my first room which was swiftly sorted by the receptionist. The stairs were in need of a refurbishment and there were huge potholes in the carpark. Overall the hotel felt tired and in need of a refurbishment.
