This was a fairly nice stay for a couple of nights. The hotel staff is very friendly and the breakfast was good. The rooms and the building itself definitely need some updates. Thankfully we were on the 5th floor because the 1st and 2nd floors smelled of cigarette smoke due to a lot of people smoking outside.

Our party of 3 booked two separate rooms, but were given a single room with a fold-out sofa. Front desk staff could not resolve it, and we're awaiting a reaponse from the hotel. They also had no record of the guest who tried checking-in right before us. He had to provide his paperwork as proof of the reservation.

Central, easy to find from the airport bus, convenient for the Hurtigruten. Friendly service in the bar, with reasonable prices (for Norway!). Best breakfast of my trip, from smoked salmon to fresh fruit, cooked breakfast to croissants....Fab!

Fint rom med flott utsikt over havna. God frokost og hjelpsom betjening. Minus var at treningsrommet ikke lå i hotellet men på et treningssenter i nærheten; og at det var høyt bråk fra utestedet over gata fram til 0230.
