My wife and I stayed at Hotel Saturnia & International to celebrate our anniversary, and overall we had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warm hospitality and helpful recommendation. Their kindness truly made our stay even more memorable. The hotel’s location is excellent within walking distance of Venice’s most iconic sights while still offering a peaceful atmosphere. One of our favorite features was the beautiful rooftop terrace, where we enjoyed breathtaking sunset views after long days of exploring the city. The hotel has a charming, classic Venetian character that we really appreciated. While we loved its historic atmosphere, we feel the guest rooms could benefit from some thoughtful updates. Our room was on the smaller side, and the amount of furniture made it feel a bit cramped. The bed was not as comfortable as we had hoped, and refreshing the furnishings while preserving the hotel’s timeless elegance would greatly enhance the guest experience. The bathroom could also use some attention. We noticed a few areas that housekeeping had overlooked, including some mold, and we believe a renovation would make a significant difference in both comfort and cleanliness. Hotel Saturnia & International has incredible potential. With updated rooms, more comfortable beds, refreshed bathrooms, and a few modern touches, it could be truly exceptional while maintaining its beautiful Venetian charm.

Beautiful hotel, jr suite was huge, best location in Venice. Staff was very nice.

We had a great stay as the location is very central, concierge were very helpful, breakfast was extensive and room was clean. We even had a small balcony. The hotel is family owned and you get the feeling that the staff care about what they do.

The hotel location is excellent. The breakfast is amazing with a waffle maker and freshly squeezed orange juice. Only downside was our room was very dark.

This hotel was incredibly adorable, and EVERYONE in the staff was friendly and exceptionally helpful. They clearly are used to visitors not familiar with some of the nuances of Venice, and between the front desk staff and the 24/7 concierge, they all helped out. The room was surprisingly very large for a European hotel, and the shower had amazing water pressure. Overall we had a perfect experience, and would highly recommend Hotel Saturnia & International to anyone going to Venice.

Had such an amazing guest experience here! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the location of this hotel was in a nice area and close to San Marco Square while also being quiet at night. The complimentary breakfast was also sooo good! Highly recommend staying here!!

Friendly welcome, magnificent room, lovely breakfast with gluten free well catered for. Central location was perfect to allow us to manage the heat wave - short explorations, followed by siesta in a/c, then back out again without long detours. Fantastic stay.

From the greeting at the private water taxi entrance to the well appointed room with an unbelievably comfortable bed and possibly the best shower I have ever encountered in a hotel on six continents, hotel Saturnia is nothing less than magnificent. We arrived very early, but they graciously held our luggage as they did following our departure so we could enjoy the streets in the city. The lobby was comfortable, the breakfast fantastic with great cappuccino and the rooftop solarium fantastic. Located in the Hart of the luxury shopping district. My wife enjoyed every store right outside the door… only wish we would have had time to enjoy the Turkish bath, which is a small additional fee, but looks to be well worth it…. would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely stay and found the property to be very centrally located. The room (quadruple room #402) was very spacious—we appreciated the separate toilet room which allowed for 2 sinks to get ready with (great for traveling w/teens). The beds and bedding was comfortable and the AC was amazing! It was so nice to come back to a cool place after the hot days! We did have a few bouts of our water turning off spontaneously for 15/20 minutes at random times—it always came back on but did catch us off guard while in the shower all soapy and having to stand and try to figure it out with no way to rinse. Not sure what the issue was and it was an inconvenience but the other aspects out weighed this. It would have been nice if the hotel offered some sort of compensation for this oddity but again we dealt with it fine. The terrace was being worked on which was a bit of a bummer but also appreciate that they are renovating the space—the view from the terrace was lovely. The concierge and water taxi (private dock) as wonderful—although the private water taxi’s are speedy it is worth the convenience! Do NOT recommend the restaurant—we were extremely disappointed by our experience. Our reservation was at 9:15 and we were not taken to a table until 9:55 at that point we were treated as a burden and the waiter rushed us and was very rude. We were so excited to eat here on site and were quickly disappointed. Food was bland and the risotto was not prepared well.

Wonderful hotel in a great central location in Venice. Back door access to the canals was easy to use for luggage. Nice bar and restaurant too. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with a historic unique decor in a prime location. The included breakfast buffet offered a vast selection from eggs, fruits to pastries and the cappuchino was delicious! Staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was unique in its decor with an antique dresser and end tables, Venetian chandeliers and built-in wooden wardrobe. The room was also fully equipped with lots of storage, a safe, mini fridge, comfortable bed and a beautiful view of a canal and gondolas. St. Mark's Square was just a short walk away and the hotel was also steps away from high-end shopping. The only negative aspect of my stay was the noise of people walking around above me which was likely due to the lack of soundproofing of the wooden floors. Otherwise a great stay!

Best stay, delicious breakfast, great location- checks off all the boxes for a great stay in venice.
