dated hotel. all the upgrades are lobby, sort of. nothing done in elevator, guest floors, ice machine placements. staff is great mostly. clean bedding, comfy beds. needs some serious attention to cleaning vents, window sills, bathroom ventilation, tub plugs.

Older building, needs to be updated, but room was clean and we loved the balcony overlooking the Rideau Canal and Lock.
Laundry mat, bowling alley, giant tiger, restaurants across parking lot.

The room was very clean, staff were excellent and very friendly and resourceful. The heating was good and could not hear anything. Would definitely recommend econo lodge to anyone.

It's very basic, so if you're just looking for a place to sleep, it fits the bill. The room was clean. The staff was amazing. Absolutely gorgeous location right on the Rideau Canal.

Loved it, was probably the best motel I've ever been to. The staff is very friendly, and there is a very nice canal in the back. There is a bar in the lobby as well full of townies, and the rooms are nice. This is the place to stay if you're in the area.

Room could use better lighting. Bed seemed a bit old and lumpy. Quarters are a bit tight... maybe only need one chair in the bedroom to make more space since there was two of us and both had suitcases... could have used with more room.
Otherwise, the place seemed clean and staff were there to greet us when we arrived.

Hotel very dated. Walking towards our room we noticed the hallway door open & as we walked in the balcony door was open. We figured they were just airing it since it seemed to have a musty odour. We only were in the room ten minutes & left for the evening. Returning, after the room had been closed - it was awful! Too exhausted to call desk but would not stay there again.
