The room was very dirty, the bed were comfy. The hotel security didnt give care at all about keeping the hallways quiet. It was so loud all night long. Smelled awful. The hallways were a night mare.... scary 😨

Awful place to stay. Disrespectful manager said if we don't like the room go find somewhere else. Rooms are old outdated and hot. They only give you this little fan to keep cool. Embarrassed to stay there .

Carpets need to be changed .. my room was very humid and the floors felt moist .. room was nice and bed was comfy though

Rooms were clean and staff was great. It was hot in Winnipeg and air conditioning in the room did struggle to keep up. Breakfast was very affordable at 5.99 for full Breakfast each weekday

Fantastic waterslide and restaurant! Horrible security-other guests were screaming profanities until 3 am without any of the many security guards stopping them or reporting them to police. Will never stay at a Canad Inn again.

The gentleman who helped us extend our weekend was fabulous. Room was clean. Extra bedding was provided quickly for sofa bed. The food is always delicious!

The staff, Valeria and Samiya (I’m trying to remember their names ✌) were very accommodating. They were professional and approachable. The breakfast at Altos was great! I love staying here at Canad Inns Fort Garry because it felt like family and a home away from home.

GREAT food, extremely helpful staff. Expedia overcharged us - simply because we wanted to ensure a later refund period. Bed was comfortable, but we're getting sick of hotels that are too cheap to buy fitted king size sheets. FLAT sheets don't work on king size beds, and the staff insist on doing strange things like tucking in on the sides, BUT NOT THE FEET! TV was the worst picture I have seen on a hotel/motel TV since 1977 (plus, the remote was very limited in functionality); TV's date showed as February 2025 - in JULY 2026; NO guide function; NO control over closed captioning; channel banner took up top 1/3 of screen. AC was quite loud.

When I first arrived there was a big police presence. They took someone into custody and then called in paramedics. When I went inside I was told that it was from the wing where the evacuees were staying. I wanted to use the hot tub but the pool area was filled with the evacuees. The room was clean and staff were polite but the clientele made the place feel unsafe.

The staff were very helpful. The restaurant servers were both terrible and excellent. Check-in was easy and parking was convenient. Our room had a big window that looked out into the hallway, so we had to keep the blind fully closed the entire time. They didn’t tell us we needed a separate keycard to get to the pool area, so we scrambled around in our bathing suits trying to figure how to enter. The water slide was fun; the pool is not suitable for actual swimming and is highly chlorinated.

Staff was amazing! Very helpful with any questions. They have a dinner theatre which is super awesome and exciting to go to! Room was clean. Pool was a good temp and kept up. Breakfast had good options at the restaurant buffet. We had a great stay and will for sure be going back to that hotel in the future when we go to Winnipeg.

Very old hotel, musty smelling, needs an update for sure but it worked to sleep in for the night.
