The room and view were absolutely amazing and I highly recommend the stay just for that!

My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. The only issue I would say we had was when booking there was only the option of 2 queen beds and having a toddler we preferred a king which was unavailable when booking. When we got to the hotel we asked and they had one but wanted to charge $52/night so we ended up with the 2 queen. The cleaning staff was really nice and gave us whatever we needed. The staff around the property were really friendly and helpful

Our second stay at Manteo resort. Villa is spacious and clean. Beds very comfortable. Great staff. I highly recommend.

Lots of good things to say about our stay. Took advantage of the many hot tubs and pools. On site dining might be some of the best in the city. The only negative to say was the closure of the boardwalk.

The check-in was easy, the room was clean and the view was great!

It definitely needs remodelling. The only thing you are paying for is the view. The tub fills up as you shower. It feels like an old motel. The rooms are large and the bathroom very small. I don’t think I’d stay here again. They also charge a resort fee. Not sure for what.

I had an exceptional stay and was truly impressed by the level of service. The staff were incredibly helpful and consistently went above and beyond to ensure my visit was both comfortable and enjoyable. The villa itself was beautiful—peaceful, spacious, and impeccably clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms were outstanding, featuring a large separate bathtub and shower, along with a double-sink vanity that added to the sense of luxury. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of having two espresso machines available. The hotel offered a variety of healthy snack options, which was a great bonus. The adults-only pool area was fantastic—quiet, relaxing, and well maintained. I also thoroughly enjoyed dining at the Lakeside Grill; the filet mignon was perfectly prepared, and the Alaska cake was incredible.

House keeping was sub-par. We had dirty coffee cups for 3 days. They didn't wipe the counters off once, or clean the floor. Bathrooms are very small and dated. Every piece of wood that is outside needs to be replaced. It is all heavily weathered at best if not rotten. The boardwalk was closed by the City, likely due to rotten wood, but that is my guess. Overpriced for what it is.

Check in was slow as the in training staff was helping a young child get a room key and it would be under one of two names, he also wanted to know how many keys this child wanted!! When he got to helping me i needed to show id and a credi card, he had no maps to give us as they had none. He should not have given a child a key to any room, no parent was with the child!!

The resort was wonderful in a great location
