Overall good, I wish the bathroom was a little nicer but it was practical and simple. The room was a decent size for 2 people. Lots of things nearby. Friendly staff.

This is my favorite hotel when traveling for work to NYC. I always book the Deluxe King room. It’s so spacious and feels like an apartment. I love the separate seating area and the soaking tub! It’s such a nice place to relax in between appointments. The location is great too. It’s right off of 5th Ave, blocks away from Central Park, and central to all the boroughs. There’s an excellent upscale Italian restaurant down below. And the staff is always charming and attentive. Can’t recommend it enough.

I have had black mold poisoning, and although this property looks clean, the ceiling had black dots in my room and shower area. I also couldn’t breathe well and was tearing up and stuffy the entire time I was in the room. I wasn’t in the room much since I arrived late at night, was at work all day the next day and out all night, then checked out by 8AM the day of departure. Some people might not have an issue, but my allergies after having black mold poisoning are super sensitive. The room appeared to be clean, and the staff were lovely. But if you have allergies, please be weary.

Great customer service

Everything was great. We were very happy with our upgraded accommodations.

Hip, clean, modern, comfortable. Nothing bad to say about this great hotel. Super well appointed, especially the lobby and mezzanine lounge area. It feels like being in a high end property for a fraction of the price. One important tip: cleaning is by request only, and requests must be made by 4PM latest the day before. So if you plan to check in after 4, make your request ahead of time by phone.

The shower was sent from the heavens (they have great water pressure) the location is so convenient you can walk everywhere from central park, carnegie hall, Rockefeller,times square and 15 minute walk from the deli 48 thats open 24 hours(the distance helped when I wanted a strawberry roll cake at 3am) and of course the staff was engaging and helpful. I hope to stay in the same location when i make my next visit to nyc!

Great location. Close to a lot of hot spots. Never felt unsafe. Staff were all so friendly. Quick accessibility using the app. Room was clean.

I travel quite a bit for business and this was the first time in a Sonder property. The room was nice and conveniently located near 5th Avenue NYC. It is a bit of a coordinated effort to part and gain access to the hotel and room. Having your identity confirmed before travel was ok, but another step. The ease of moving about was fine after you got used to this process. The room itself was nice with great light, pretty spacious for NYC and a great shower!
