We stayed in seven different hotels during our last trip to Switzerland, and this was the worst. Despite paying more than other hotels in more popular places (e.g. Geneva), this had the tiniest hotel room with the absolute worst view ever. I couldn't even see daylight, just a large laundry chute that completely blocked the view. The room was hot and stuffy. Barely any room to walk around the bed. The front desk staff did nothing for us. There were 2 people working a crowded lobby full of people trying to check in. We would have left if we weren't so exhausted.
The hotel was extremely close to the train station. Breakfast was not included, and at CHF39 (~$50USD), we went to Migros instead. (BTW, MIGROS is a GAME CHANGER - get snacks, groceries, etc. there for low prices). The Holy Cow burger restaurant is a block away and it fabulous and less expensive than other restaurants.
