I have to say, this hotel genuinely impressed me in so many ways. The property is stunning, the staff is warm and attentive, and you can feel the care that went into the recent renovation. I wanted to love every inch of it. But I'd be doing future guests a disservice if I didn't share one real concern: the bathroom. It's clear the remodel brought a lot of beautiful touches to this space, and that makes it all the more puzzling that the bathroom feels like it was left behind. There's no shower door, which means water spreads freely across the floor with every use. And the sink, made of wood and meant to feel stylish, shows obvious water damage and feels genuinely unstable. I was hesitant to use it, honestly worried it might not hold. This isn't a minor inconvenience. For a hotel of this caliber, it's a mismatch that stands out, and one that I hope the management will address, because everything else here is truly worth celebrating. With a bathroom that matches the rest of the experience, this would be a five-star stay without question. I'm rooting for them to get it right.

Breakfast was fresh but way too slow, and with reservation we waited almost an hour for a table. The staff in the restaurant does not refresh coffee or water or ask if we need anything. We had to try hard to get their attention.

We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel St-Sulpice. The overall experience felt thoughtful and luxurious from start to finish. The room was beautifully appointed, and the little touches really stood out — Nespresso, a well-equipped kitchenette, wine, tea, excellent toiletries, and a large, comfortable bath that made it easy to relax. The staff truly made the stay. The front desk team was warm and welcoming, and the valet service was consistently courteous, kind, and efficient. We also loved the on-site restaurant — the food was absolutely delicious and a highlight of our visit. The only downside was that the WiFi was a bit patchy at times, but it didn’t take away too much from an otherwise excellent stay. We’d absolutely return and highly recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and elevated experience in Montreal.

Great place to stay if you want to experience the old port it is walking distance to Notre Dame, cafes and shops. Getting the steps in between culinary and other waterfront exploration is key. We appreciated having a beautiful and well appointed room at the end of the day to rest. Thank you to the very friendly team who anticipated and took care of our needs. I am looking forward to another weekend in Montreal in St Sulpice - hopefully this time we are able to share the experience with the family including our dearest furry member - not the husband..

The hotel is in an excellent location. Staff were very friendly. Room we had was very large. Breakfast was great. Main drawback with the hotel was that the bar and restaurant were closed most evenings after 8pm. I think this might change in warmer months as they have a rooftop bar.

Hôtel was clean and conveniently located. Front desk staff were apathetic when a personal item went missing. The item was returned after repeated requests at guest expense.

I had a very pleasant overall stay at Hôtel Saint-Sulpice. The room was spacious, the bed was large and very comfortable, and the location is excellent — right next to Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal and within a short walking distance to the metro. The breakfast was average, but still decent. If you don’t have plans to eat, having breakfast at the hotel is perfectly fine. The breakfast staff were lovely, attentive, and provided great service. I also had a very positive experience with the hotel staff during the night shift and the following morning.they were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. However, the only disappointing part of my stay was the check-in experience. I arrived around 6 PM after walking from the station in snow and strong winds, carrying my luggage and quite exhausted. Unfortunately, the staff member at check-in seemed unfriendly and somewhat dismissive. It felt like they were not very willing to assist, which was surprising for a hospitality setting. I have heard that there can sometimes be issues with discrimination in Quebec, and while I can’t say for certain, the interaction did leave me feeling uncomfortable. That said, this was the only negative point in an otherwise great stay.

Beautiful room and great staff, I had a lovely stay. If I want to be knit picky there were no outlets, I need to unplug a lamp for my charger, and only one closet, no drawers. But a great location and vibe!
