Run down Restaurant good food but short staffed, long wait

Good service , no breakfast

Included breakfast i didn't expect. Had bo pool outdoor as I expected. Staff were gmhelpful and met my needs. I should not have had to pay extra for my dog no one came into the room to clean it up. This was at my request, so I would like a refund of 60$ plus any taxes.

The room had a mildew odor to it. Picked the room based on the jacuzzi. It was a micro version that upon arrival informed only 2 in the whole hotel was normal sized. As in the website advertised version odds were that it wouldn't be available. Offered a different room that also smelled the same. Purchased candles and plug-ins to mask the smell. Planned to use the jacuzzi in the morning before checkout it had hair and skin remnants at the bottom so hard pass.

We’ve always been happy with Best Western Plus. Booked this particular one because we were in the middle of a heat wave and they advertised an outdoor pool. Discovered pool had never been opened. Extremely disappointed. We were given vouchers for a menu breakfast which was very good. However the one server was swamped and we waited for a good hour til we were served. All in all not a pleasant stay

We are so thankful to Best Western,Guildwood Inn, they upgraded our room to double queen bed with no extra fees, Very accomodating. With complimentary breakfast. I just wish they have their own pool, but we were able to use the other hotels pool. Clean place. Good Staff.

Okay stay... many problems.

Sad to say ( as we stay here quite often ) to chill out in Sarnia. Room was not ready on time ( no biggy ) Soaker tub in our room jets did not work but didn’t check until next morning so it was just a bath for my lady ( not cool ) A/C had a high pitch squeal ( got used to it ) Never had more than a minor issue before as we have stayed 8/9 times here now. Still like it here will try again soon to see if it was just a bad weekend

Smell

Terrible free breakfast: waited for one hour although there were only 4-5 tables waiting for service. No staff in Front desk when checkin.

The woman at the front desk - I forgot to record her name - was extremely helpful and wonderful to chat with.

Staff was great. There was an outdoor pool but it wasn't opened for the season yet. Room was a great size.

Clean room.

Room was clean, however the hotel is old. (Doors did not shut). It seems that rooms were rented to long term renters, bringing bikes into their rooms.

Obsolete coffe maker

I would rather speak with the manager in the morning about my complete and total disappointment in this hotel!! 😒
