The room was ver clean and the staff was very friendly and professional.

Our stay was pleasant. We had trouble finding our room due to some construction but other than that our stay was great!

Buffet - great selection. Problem is tha breakfast was not available until 8.00am and everyone staying at the hotel had to be at a local tournament by 8.30am. They should have been more helpful at opening earlier. Secondly the car parking is now charged for all guests - and on every entry / exit. It was free last year. The bar service though friendly was very slow. Great location, nice clean rooms. Maybe tea and coffee in the rooms would be a nice addition as it is common practice in most hotels.

The place was tired and not what we expected. Also didn’t expect buffet dinner. Couldn’t find s real restaurant.

We stayed at the hotel the Playa De La Luz while visiting our daughter station at the naval base in Rota. We enjoyed our stay the resort is nice and the atmosphere was very laid back. We had breakfast included in our package, and it was well worth it. The pools are nice the beach had way to much seaweed for our liking but it is still a beautiful setting to be on the beach. Parking could also be better, we parked on the outside of the hotel as it can be costly to stay in the hotel parking lot. All in all we had an amazing stay there.

We had short stay one night. Room was very clean and we loved the vibe. Only minor issue! Balcony sliding door was making noises so not really good if you open/close late time. Pool was very clean. We loved the area and the hotel.

Beautiful, safe, and convenient location. Good selection at the breakfast buffet. Staff very helpful and friendly. Beds very hard; maybe its a European thing but i prefer a softer mattress. Attached restaurant not impressed with food selection. Hotel a bit overpriced for the area.

The hotel was spacious, clean & well maintained. I would highly recommend, the pools, beach & rooftop adult pool/beach club was very nice. Reception staff was coldly polite & not especially helpful, they did not make recommendations, etc. The cleaning staff is amazing! The woman who cleaned our room daily made the bed perfectly, was warm, funny, kind & patient with us. The location was good-we had a car, they have paid parking available. However, just outside the gate there is plenty of free street parking, in nice neighborhood. If you want a lounge chair on the beach, be aware the charge is €12 p/p per day. Rota was lovely, lots of good food & lovely locals.

The property was in a good location next to the beach and a good walk through into the town. Slightly frustrated to discover we had to pay for the beach club and that we had to pay for the whole stay (not just the days we wanted to use it). Likewise we had to pay for towels as well which we weren’t expecting. Once there it was a nice area but there was no bar or service until 5pm (also frustrating given there was a member of staff behind the bar every day)! There wasn’t much food choice for vegans/veggies which we both are. The room was really spacious and clean and we had a balcony view that included sea/pool. Overall a nice stay just some minor frustrations around clarity if pricing and

I went to a Rota Naval Base school reunion which was hosted by the Playa de la Luz Hotel. They did an excellent job. My one complaint is that our room bill was very difficult to decipher, and after I figured it out it turned out they were charging for an extra night! In short, excellent friendly hotel, but confusing bill at check out.
