Rooms were dirty and stinky

The hotel was a real value, everything was great.

I almost don't want to post a review as I'd like to keep this gem quiet for myself and family! We have stayed at another reputable place in Jasper many times, but decided to switch it up. We tried the Tonquin Inn and were extremely impressed! The rooms and beds were clean. The room layout/set up was excellent. The pools and hot tubs (both indoor and outdoor) were clean and enjoyable. The outdoor hot tubs are a cool bonus! The kids enjoyed being outside. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I think some people don't realize that most properties in Jasper are dated, and this impacts their review. The Tonquin is dated but obviously well taken care of. Overall, the Tonquin experience was excellent and we will be back!

Enjoyed our stay

The place was great. Hot tubs were right outside our room and they were nice and clean. Bathrooms were nice, rooms were good and beds comfortable. Definetely recommend this place

Hot tubs were great

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, friendly staff!

Excellent value for money. The staff was top notch and the beds were comfortable with real cotton sheets and comfortable mattress. Bathroom was old, but everything worked well, and the towels were fluffy, soft, and clean. Loved the fresh mountain water right from the tap to bathe and drink! The room was a bit hot even with the heat off, so I slept with the window open, but can't beat the value for money. Close enough to walk to town but quiet at night, great pool, and love the outdoor hot tubs. The restaurant is good, and the discount card that comes with the room is a nice service. Room was clean, fridge was great, missed the microwave for mornings, but realized there was one in the front office beside the fresh and free coffee, and that they will bring you a microwave to your room if you want one! Missed that table top sign. Overall, one of the best stays in Jasper in years, and we've tried many local hotels. Can't beat the price and super friendly and helpful staff!

The bus to Marmot Basin ski slope comes right outside the Inn's door. Marmot Basin is great skiing.

Best place to stay if you have an animal

The room was not great. A lot of water leaking sounds..

Decent location, but property in extremely poor condition. I’ve stayed in over 600+ motels/hotels/resort condos over the years. Of course, my expectations are commensurate with the per night cost of my stay. Unfortunately, it seems like most of this property hasn’t been updated in 50+ years.

We're returning guests and as always, it's a great place to stay. Clean and well kept. Love that they are pet friendly and are greeted as guests as well!
