Room was clean, although bedding had hole in fitted sheet, there was a kettle and coffee maker with pods, room was reasonable quiet from traffic noise as at back of hotel.

It was a lovely hotel, staff were very helpful, and was in good proximity to majority of places in the city. The only thing is the rooms are quite dated and means they don’t have any form of fridge in the room which would have been nice to have for a four star. Overall a lovely stay

The rooms are excellent, clean, large, well lit, and well appointed. The location and view we had to the Rhine was good and the staff were polite, efficient and engaging. In terms of value for money and quality I could not fault this Hotel.

We had an apartment which was so spacious. Couldnt fault the room. Had everything we needed. Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. Only thing we didnt get told is we needed to tell them if we wanted fresh bedding or towels but for a 2 night stay this didnt bother us. Excellent location.

Over all good. But there’s no even tea service. They said because of standard room. I wish I could have a cup of tea at my room in the morning. I paid for tea all the way down to lobby.

Apartment was clean, well furnished and spacious. A great location for the Christmas markets. Staff were extremely helpful, spoke excellent English. Breakfast was simply amazing, one of the best I have ever had at a hotel, almost an attraction in itself!

First the good, lovely location by the Rhine with nice walks along the banks, 5 minute walk into town. Fantastic staff very informative. The average.Our room was overlooking the Rhine with a comfortable bed but the pillows as we noticed in the 3 hotels we stayed, while in Germany are very soft and you only get 1 each ! Also you would think at this time of the year (October) the heating would be on, this was not the case in the Allergo, we had to get someone from reception to bleed the radiator, not what I expect from a hotel of this standard. The bad, Micro bathroom the smallest space we have ever seen in a bathroom the shower millimetres away from the toilet, made the act of showering difficult, Liquid shower gel in a bottle on the floor, no shelf - nook or cranny to put items on while showering, very compact.

The hotel was located perfectly situated near the cathedral, river, shopping and train station.

Hotel Allegro is a nice hotel. Pros: nice location just steps away from Huemarkt, Rhine, Senfmuller (local mustard miller), Chocolate Museum; easy, beautiful walk to the cathedral and museums; very friendly hotel staff; quiet; very nice breakfast. Cons: a bit dated and small rooms, both of which are easily overlooked especially for the reasonable rates. I recommend for those on a budget- very good value!

Terrific hotel; nice location on the river; comfortable room; staff kindly arranged for me to have an early morning check-in on the first day, and to hold my luggage securely on my last day.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was located in a safe area in the town. Within walking distance to the Chocolate Museum and the Dom.
