Lovely quirky old hotel. Lots of outside steps from the road up to reception no lift The room was huge and freshly renovated as was the bathroom. The window in the bathroom had no covering so the people opp could see straight in…….. At the moment the hotel is undergoing renovation which I wasn’t aware of hence you couldn’t sit in the courtyard during working hours. Break fast is very basic for €15 Also there is a big building site right next to the hotel which is noisy and is apparently going to take at least a year to complete I would use the hotel again but not for the net 2 years till the building works are finished

It is quaint, central courtyard; feels historic; family run and friendly. Not for the infirm - lots of stairs.

Property was interesting an old convent I believe but although they mentioned no elevator to rooms they did not mention that there were over 40 steep steps straight off the street to the reception. Carrying heavy suitcases up was awful. Two of us really hurt ourselves.

Location on outskirts of main city centre but close to national museum and several restaurants

Had a choice of booking a Classic or Superior room, the later being advertised as being larger in size with space to relax in. It wasn't until we got there, and questioned the room allocation, that we were told that all rooms, apart from the suites, were the same size. Very disappointed as we paid for a Superior room, but ended up with a room with just about enough room to swing a cat. Would recommend only if you would like a place to return to a sleep only.

The property is really nice, the rooms were quite large for a European hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Especially the waiter, Mario, took really good care of us during breakfasts. Amazing location as well, very close to public transport and walking distance to some major historic sites.

Great overall stay. Edgardo is the best employee. Attentive and extremely courteous. Made the stay that much better.

Staff friendly and helpful, beautiful period house. Relaxing patio area, nice selection for breakfast. Initial issue with room was dealt with quickly to our satisfaction.

The entire check in and check out procedure was super easy and fast. The room was clean and comfortable. It was in relatively easy walking distance to food and shopping. Most attractions are outside normal walking distance so you may need to catch an Uber or ride share. We would definitely stay there again.
