We had a two-night stay in this beautiful listed building / manor house, and our experience from arrival to departure was five-star throughout. All staff were polite, welcoming, and extremely helpful. Our deluxe double room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The dining area, bar, and hallways all felt grand and added to the sense of occasion. We dined at the hotel on our first evening and were really pleased with the overall experience. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, with plenty of choice. The swimming pool, sauna, and steam room were a lovely addition and made the stay feel extra special. We especially enjoyed seeing the resident peacocks wandering the grounds, which added to the sense of staying somewhere truly special. Would we stay again? Absolutely. Would we recommend Pendley Manor to friends and family? Without hesitation – 100%.

Just returned from a lovely stay at Pendley Manor for my husband’s birthday. Check in was really smooth and quick. Adrian was extremely efficient, polite and professional and told us that we had a complimentary upgrade in room which was really kind, and we really appreciated it! The room was beautiful! They had left a birthday card which was signed from reception staff which was a really nice, personal touch. Spa/pool area is clean and the swimming pool is warm, we spent couple hours there and used the steam rooms etc, really calm and nice. All the staff are polite and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was comfortable and had everything you need for a short stay, well equipped and clean. The bathroom was beautiful and huge! Breakfast the next morning was fantastic, lots of choice and service was good. We will definitely return. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We highly recommend Pendley Manor.

Great hotel. We stayed for a night with our kids for a staycation. Very accommodating for families, beautiful old manor house with a lovely pool and spa. Ate in the bar area and the food was great. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely place to stay, great staff and beautiful surroundings. We only stayed one night but felt like we made the most of what was on offer. Had a swim late in the evening and first thing in the morning, pool was slightly chilly but a good size and lovely for the kids. Room was spacious, comfy and clean. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. All the staff we met were very friendly, particular mention to Rebecca the receptionist who gave us a very warm welcome and explanation of the facilities. Enjoyed the grounds and the large flock of peacocks in the morning before we left- this was a stop off to break a long journey and we’d absolutely stay there again.

Location is great, although parking is a nightmare. If the main car park is full be prepared to park on a field and trek to the main building. Can imagine that's fun on a wet day! Accessibility is a major issue so if you have issues walking or have a pushchair or wheelchair then it will be hard work to get around the hotel. There are no lifts and plenty of stairs. Room was nicely decorated but very small. We booked a double room but there was very little space to walk in the room and it was hard for two people to get ready at the same time. Fortunately we were only there one night. We moved to the Premier Inn the next night and actually the room there was much more spacious and had a much better feel it. The reception staff were pleasant enough. I had no interactions with other members of staff. All in all, I feel like the price and advertising doesn't adequately reflect the actual experience. I think the hotel is poor value for money and wouldn't recommend staying here and hence the one star.
