Very good thank you hotel

Our room was spacious and bright with excellent blackout curtains for night. Bed comfortable with bed linens and comforters that are fully washable (no worries who or what was previously on the bedspread 😉.) Room well maintained. Breakfast is good for a complementary breakfast — included hot options and the coffee was actually good. Lots of parking and greenery around the building. Staff welcoming and every staff member greeted and smiled when passing them is the hallway. Rooms quiet despite location between highway and train. You can hear a rumbling when trains pass but the windows muffle the sound quite well. Room doors can be noisy when closing but that’s a usual hotel issue. Easy access from 401 or GO / VIA train station. Bottom line: not the Ritz but great value for the money.

When arriving, the front doesn’t look very good. There are overgrown trees, vines growing up the building and the front steps didn’t look very nice. We wanted to check in early but was told there was a $45 early check in fee and our room was ready. We only wanted to drop OFF our suitcases. Not very good PR. We checked in around 9pm and was pleasantly surprised when we drove around the back of the building to find a nicely renovated exterior. Our room was nice with a panelled floor, two fridges, a Keurig coffee maker (only 2 k-cups for 3 guests) and a microwave. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok. The food and dining room were small. You need to get there early to have a good selection. Only disappointment was the coffee (very weak).

All four elevator bars (from inside are loose and broken) both chairs in room were wobbly as well as the desk .. looked like a 4 year old painted the bathroom .. shower curtain does not work water splashes on bathroom floor … toilet sounds like jet engine … pretty much all channels on tv did not work.

The hallways smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. When asked if this was a smoke free hotel they told us yes but people still smoke anyways. Very unpleasant as you are walking to your room. When we entered the first room we were assigned, there was a big bug that scampered across the floor. We went back to reception and were given another room. There was as someone’s long black hair on both queen bedcovers. There were no plates at breakfast the next day. We had to wait. Then no coffee at 8:45am. It was over twenty minutes. We asked at the front desk for coffee and about ten minutes later they brought out coffee that was more like weak muddy water. Overall a very disappointing stay.

Staff were very helpful. Rooms quiet. Breakfast selection was good although dining space is not optimal.

Service was great A/c in 3 rooms did not work

Clean and Niki who works on the breakfast area is super helpful. We saw her helping everyone and even deliver food to the table for our kid although it is suppose to be self serve.

Easy access and walking distance to the go train station. Breakfast ok. Need to upgrade water tap and shower head.

Hotel très propre et bien entretenu. Nous sommes restés 1 nuit et tout était parfait. Bien situé et facile de voyager vers Toronto avec la gare de train à proximité. Je recommande cet endroit et n’hésiterai pas à y retourner.

Good hot breakfast and coffee machine. Our room had some odd issues with cold water and getting AC to come on at a reasonable temperature. Might have just been bad luck. Overall it was a decent place.

Breakfast was warm but the tv had many missing channels.
