Breakfast buffet very good; the overall hotel is very nice and a great location. The beds are comfortable and the hotel is quiet! Never any issues with noise or traffic; only complaint would be the $20/ night parking charge; seems a bit high.

Appears recently updated, very clean, very comfortable, excellent staff, better than the average breakfast, excellent location. Location very quiet but walkable to all inner harbour sights etc. would recommend this property

We are locals and had a celebration to attend, so we decided to stay downtown. This is a basic hotel in a very convenient location in downtown Victoria BC. It is not a fancy place but breakfast was very good, beds were comfortable, and the room and property was clean and well maintained (May 2026). We enjoyed watching the horse trollys go down the street during breakfast, which had loads of food options. The dining area was spacious and clean and had a view of the parliament offices. The only downside to this stay was the room they had us in, #103, is above a delivery or pickup driveway of some sort. We were awoken quite early by very loud vehicle noise and subsequent banging of the garbage bin and other activities a couple times. So we were up an hour earlier than planned. There is always that room in a hotel, and we just happened to be assigned to it. Overall a nice stay.

The whole experience at the Embassy Inn was wonderful. The front desk person was extremely helpful and the breakfast buffet was great. The staff working the breakfast time was so helpful and pleasant….. A good experience all around.

We lucked out and were given a typical hotel room sized room. About 50% of the rooms in this hotel are tiny to claustrophobic, with zero room to even layout your suitcase. The breakfast is excellent, varied, and served in a clean spacious dining room. The hotel location is great as it is next to the Parliament Building and a short walk to the downtown.

We stayed here May 2023 so our trip this year 2026 was just as good . Perfect location straight up to the Thrifty supermarket. Cooking facilities and utensils good . Stayed in suite 206 again - only criticism is yet again no chairs on the side facing balcony ( last time we asked & they were provided) however with a view of a full skip of rubbish we didnt bother. Good selection & choice of breakfast. items

We enjoyed our stay at The Embassy Inn. This is the second time we have stayed with them. It is clean and quiet with a great location close to the harbour. The breakfast is good and there is a small outdoor seating area at the back of the hotel to enjoy Victoria weather. (It would have been nice to have seating in their front garden as well.) The property is older and could use updating but otherwise is maintained. The beds are comfortable and they make up the room daily which was a pleasant surprise. The only wrinkle was having to pay for parking. On Expedia, it said their price included all taxes and fees and that the parking is free. This is not the case. There is a $20/day parking fee. There is plenty of street parking and a large paid (but cheaper), parking lot behind the building so if you're on a budget consider those options.

We stayed for 10 nights. Our room was ready upon arrival. Fabulous corner room with great views. Hotel very clean, staff friendly. Amazing buffet breakfast. Perfect location..most sites within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel with a stay in Victoria!

Room was on the smaller side but spotlessly clean and quiet. Loved the breakfast provided free every morning. Wasn’t nuts about the bed. Mattress was too firm for me, minus a pillow top. It was okay but the sheets were on the coarse side and made me feel itchy. I have sensitive skin and most good hotels I’ve stayed at have had quality soft sheets. These sheets weren’t among them!

The breakfast was great and the room was clean and quiet.
