Absolute value for money. The hotel is so central and perfectly placed to explore the city. The rooms are a bit old fashioned, as is the décor, however it's clean and tidy. Two things to note; 1 they don't serve alcohol, not necessarily an issue as there a loads of local bars that do, however you can't bring your own drinks (non-alcoholic) to the pool area, you have buy them from the bar 2. the staff are super friendly and nice but the managers are not. Overall we had a fab time and met some lovely visitors and staff and would visit again

We had a wonderful stay at Diwane Hotel & Spa Marrakech, and it truly made our trip to Morocco unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine Moroccan hospitality. The reception staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help with any questions we had. All of the other staff were also incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our entire stay. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, and we always returned to a fresh and tidy room. The traditional Moroccan décor throughout the hotel created a beautiful atmosphere and made us feel like we were truly experiencing the local culture. The swimming pool was one of our favourite parts of the hotel. It was clean, relaxing, and the perfect place to cool off after exploring Marrakech in the summer heat. We also enjoyed spending time in the hotel’s peaceful surroundings. Breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and delicious food each morning. There was something for everyone, and the restaurant staff were always kind, attentive, and friendly, making every meal enjoyable. One of the best things about this hotel is its excellent location. It is close to many shops, cafés, restaurants, and salons, and only a short taxi ride from Jemaa el Fnaa and the Medina, making it very convenient for sightseeing and exploring Marrakech. One of the highlights of our stay was celebrating my birthday at the hotel. The hotel staff kindly helped organise the celebration, and the talented Chaabi musicians played traditional Moroccan music while everyone sang 'Happy Birthday' They created such a joyful, lively, and welcoming atmosphere that made my birthday incredibly special. Their kindness, enthusiasm, and the effort they put into making the celebration so memorable meant so much to me. Celebrating my birthday in true Moroccan style was such a unique and unforgettable experience, and it is a memory I will cherish forever. A special thank you to every member of the staff for making us feel so welcome throughout our stay. Your kindness, professionalism, and exceptional hospitality made a real difference to our holiday and exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Marrakech. Whether you’re travelling with family, friends, or as a couple, you can expect excellent service, comfortable rooms, a fantastic location, and wonderful staff who genuinely care about their guests. This is my 4th stay and while I agree that the property is dated i genuinely love this place. The staff are friendly and caring, there are so many food places within a few minutes walk and the food in the hotel is great. My grandma has stomach issues and is veggie and every night time the chef told her the best options and if she didnt like them he made her something. Aziz will always be a star here- the hardest working pool guy you will meet. Some staff are a bit abrupt but never rude. They work long shifts too lest us forget!

We stayed at Hotel Diwane for 8 nights and were happy to stay here. Personnel is friendly, the included breakfast buffet is extensive (morrocan, english and continental options) with enough options for special diets, there's a pool and a spa. The location is perfect in the 'new city' neighbourhood of Gueliz, which has a direct bus connection (L1) to the old city centre for just 4 MAD per person one way. With the local Uber app called 'InDrive' it's easy to call for a cab that picks you up in front of the hotel. It has supermarkets, cafe's and enough variety of restaurants within a radius of 10 min walk. It has hammams and spas and dry cleaning services on foot distance. So we enjoyed staying here as opposed to staying in a riad in the medina (old city centre).

Had a great stay here April 2026 - booked through love holidays. Great location to get to from the airport. Staff are friendly and the excursions desk was very helpful and knowledgeable. Booked the quad biking which was amazing day out and went to the medina which was also good and everyone was friendly. Also the spa is well worth doing. Only down side it is now the bar does not serve alcohol - looking at reviews this is a new thing as there was nothing mentioned when booking in Jan 2026. However there is a little botanical cocktail bar called barometer round the corner. Which not only does amazing cocktails but the food was really good. There is another bar/restaurant across the road both of these locations have friendly welcoming staff. Be warned the roads are a little scary people drive everywhere and there seems to be no rules like back home in the uk.
