Staff was friendly and helpful. Responded to our needs very quickly. Was unaware our room had no air conditioning. It really should be noted so there is no disappointment and your rating will be imlroved with this knowledge. Also elevator was not working and walking up to second (with 0 being ground floor) was difficult for older guest (me!) with luggage. This should have been noted prior to check in even if it was temporary. Again best to expose than hide facts of stay.

Still being refurbished - and amazingly they haven’t put aircon in! Even in February it was too warm. The refurbished rooms are a vast improvement on before. Staff getting round building issues, but signs lead you all round the building, then say no entry! Will be good (but very hot) when finished. Extremely convenient for Hedon to see live bands.

Don’t waste your money on the breakfast - was not worth it all

Excellent friendly staff, great location but a crappy room. The hotel seems to cater for sub contractors only. 3 low quality single beds in my room, poor lighting, crap shower.

I have no complaints about the hotel but it felt a bit old fashioned and could do with some refreshment or renovation. It was a good price though.

Basic hotel which was clean and comfortable even though rather dated

I booked the property because it had a restaurant, when I arrived at 14:00 I asked when it was open, I was told after 17:00.So I waited until 18:00 to come down for a meal only to be told it was reservations only( which I was not told)I waited in the bar joining the restaurant until the first customers started arriving.Two and a half hours, I could of been fed ten times over, I was told just eat deliver there woooohooo, went to bed hungry, woke up for a shower,well a drip more than shower, was sooo angry with stay

Enjoyed the stay. All the staff were lovely. Room was straightforward, spacious and functional. Beer/wine/snacks available - which was great.

The cleanliness of this hotel was good and the staff were kind and helpful. This hotel is of a certain age and needs updating especially where decoration and carpets are concerned. Some corridor carpets had bare areas and also paint was peeling on doors and door frames.

This location was good value for cost. The rooms are small but the breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful.

Friendly staff, decent breakfast and great central location. The hotel generally was fine, covers basic needs. However, noisy with traffic outside and the rooms were very warm at night in the summer. The decor in rooms could do with a refresh

A basic hotel at a basic price made good by the friendly and helpful staff. It makes a great base within walking distance of the city centre and it simply provides everything expected from this type of hotel. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit.

The location was ok. Room very spacious. And clean. Internet good enough. And coffee in the room. Staff very service minded. Matras was to soft/ not orthopedic. Time to upgrade the room (wash basin was cracked, among others).
