Enjoyed our stay! Good location, convenient amenities.

Clean room; very outdated and almost no lighting in the room; the bathroom sink was sad looking but scrubbed impeccably! So if you’re just looking for a comfy bed and quite a nice outdoor area, this will do in a pinch! The front desk girl was wonderful when we checked in. We would stay here again.

Our stay at Recreation Inn and Suites went above and beyond our expectations. From the moment we checked in until our check out, staff were friendly and helpful, starting with an unexpected upgrade to our room (complimentary). Our room was equipped with a kitchenette which had a sink, full-sized fridge and stove. Room was way bigger than expected, clean, and with comfortable beds. Outside noise was limited and the suite was easily darkened for quality sleep. Breakfast was great, with a variety of food, and we also enjoyed the other great amenities there such as the pool (which had a plethora of toys) and the lawn area with games and bbq. The location is convenient as it was just off the main road and less than a 10 min drive downtown. Would happily return and recommend these accommodations for future travels!

This property is in excellent location, rooms are very clean, it provides fridge, nice kitchen as well as good breakfast. The staffs are very nice , highly recommend.

The staff here are very helpful and friendly. I was concerned that it would be noisy considering how close to Harvey the property is. But it’s surprisingly quiet. This is an old style motel so they have worked with what they have and updated the rooms as best they can. We didn’t use the pool area but it looked very nice. The room, kitchenette, bathroom were very clean with everything you would need to cook for yourself. There are outdoor BBQ’s available for guests to use and a picnic area. The exterior of the motel looks worn, so initial impression isn’t that great, but as mentioned, the areas the guests use are clean, maintained and the location is so convenient. We would definitely stay here again and the price is more reasonable than the big hotels where you rarely get the bonus of cooking facilities in your room.

Well kept and well run. We had a last min reservation due to issues with our car. The person at the desk was friendly and attentive to our needs. The room was clean and tidy and the a/c made the room really cold which was welcomed after a day in the heat. It’s nice that there’s bbqs, picnic tables, a pool and sauna. We didn’t get to use them but next time we are in town we will for sure come here again. The breakfast the next morning was great and the attendant there was polite and helpful and kept things clean .
