Nice location. Comfortable rooms

Lovely stay at this hotel. Only downside was the queue when checking in and lack of options to buy a bottle of cold water when I got back on Saturday night.

Room service

Room was quite small but clean. Fan in room was very dusty. Staff were fairly friendly (I'd give them a 6 out of 10) Breakfast was basic for this Elite hotel & they were short staffed on our second morning. It was the 2 waiting staff & the receptionist that were filling up the breakfast items (to us it looked like there was no catering staff). Bar food was lovely.

Fabulous property and very well positioned close to the A56 junction. Excellent room with quality fittings and fixtures. Brilliant TV and brewing kit with biscuits' Could not ask for more!

Staff were not very helpful .Rooms were far too hot. We were there during the heatwave. Windows barely opened but the hotel provides a fan. Breakfast was very poor with little variety! Outdoors seating area is really lovely.

Would recommend stayng as really comfy bed and large tv with all apps like netflix, now and prime plus more. Also good location near Warrington and easy access to motorway

Brilliant place to stay with everything you could want. Staff lovely and very helpful. Bar and restaurant very nice. Room was lovely and clean and although we'd booked a small room it had everything you needed. Only downside was the bedroom was VERY hot even with the fan on all night. Will definitely stay again

The hotel was lovely and I was happy with my stay. I really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and thought it was very well-maintained. However, I woke up covered in bed bug bites. I was very surprised as the room seemed very clean but over the course of the next couple of days 40 or so bites appeared. I reported this to the hotel and was told they would check the room and follow-up. I emailed the hotel but got no reply. I am obviously worried that I will bring this issue back home. I would have been very happy to return as the rest of the stay was great and the staff were lovely. This did obviously spoil my relaxing stay.

You can tell this hotel is an old hotel with its strange layout. They have recently gone through a makeover so looks clean and tidy

Ok. Good for a stop

Generally a good hotel. It is on a business park so not much local vibe, you definitely benefit from having a car. The upside of this is that there is loads of parking and you can travel onward very quickly. There was a problem with power in the first room but they did upgrade me. Also the room key stopped working. The staff were very good and put everything right promptly. Some of the lift interiors looked a bit scuffed. The rooms were well decorated. I was on my own so I booked a cozy room, it was... Pay a bit extra and get a standard double, it is worth it and still very reasonable. The hotel is clean and it has a nice foyer and coffee bar, some of the architecture is a bit 70's so low-rise and long corridors but well upgraded. Leisure centre staff were very helpful. Breakfast was well-priced but would benefit from a better selection of bread and more cold cuts of meat and cheese.

Had a great stay at the daresbury, we used the pool, steam room and jacuzzi facilities, very enjoyable! Stay in the room was comfortable, only thing I’d suggest is giving more than 1 pillow per person. Also room service number has changed to what was on the menu so we had to ring reception. However, every staff member we saw or spoke to couldn’t be more helpful! We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back hopefully next month!!

Always a wonderful stay at The Daresbury. Beautiful hotel, great pool and spa area too. Staff are helpful and always look after us.
