The staff was amazing and the property was very nice. We had two issues 1st on expedia it said there was a shuttle to the beach for a charge and that was not true. You could take two city buses over and hour. 2nd there was construction going on so the power went out on tow different occasions. They did warn us but it was 90 degrees.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Ambiasciatore. The room was huge, and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a wonderful view. The staff was very accommodating. The hotel is located within reasonable walking distance of most of the Palermo sights. The street outside was busy, but we didn't notice the noise in our room. There is also a great pizza and cocktail place, Crash, right around the corner.

The bathrooms in the rooms are really small but other than that everything is great. The breakfast is amazing.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location in Palermo, Sicily. It was very convenient, with many attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. The only issue I experienced was with the air conditioning, which gave me a bit of trouble during my stay. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and I would recommend it for its excellent location. Superb view from the rooftop restaurant!

The buffet breakfast on the roof terrace was great. The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station and to one of the airport shuttle stops. Reception is open 25 hours a day.

Very nice property and the location was excellent... right in the heart of the historic district. But the high point of this hotel is the restaurant. First of all excellent breakfast with a panoramic view of the city from the rooftop. And the dinner menu is outstanding... very unexpected for a hotel restaurant... highly recommended.

The room was big and beautiful and the staff were lovely. 2 things- the rooftop restaurant is very busy and everyone rides the guest elevator. If by chance the guest room hallway doors are left open, the restaurant guests can access your hotel door- which did not have an extra lock from the inside. I felt a little uneasy about this. The shower had black mould on the ceiling and in the grout. Maybe this is ok in Europe but not for me. Also no secure luggage storage. The bedding was lovely, the room amenities were nice.

Rooms where nice for Palarmo. It was on a very busy street, but good location for short walks to food, cappuccino and gelato. Staff was extremely helpful on rooms and recommendations.

The bed and pillows are most comfortable. The bathroom is spacious with a great shower. Overall, it's a good hotel for the price, although the entire place needs a "facelift".

Good location a 10 min walk to Quattro Conti area. Small room, bathroom needs some upgrades. Rooftop restaurant, staff and food were all awesome! Parking at a parking lot close by.
