The hotel is set at the beachfront which boasts a nice sandy beach with a Beach Bar. The place is very well maintained and rooms are clean ans very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the spa which was reasonably priced with a relaxing ambience and good facials! The staff was warm and friendly. What we wish was better is the food. The variety for breakfast is amazing. However, the execution of the cooking - the cooked dishes in general lack taste. I preferred the fresh salads,n cold cuts and tinned fish. The breads were dry and hard while the seafood tastes like thawed frozen seafood. The fish was soggy and flaked into lumps after cooking. We found the cuts of beef a better option than seafood unfortunately. This is a pity given it’s a seaside hotel. We were given one complimentary bottle of water which is not enough for us drinking 3L a day per person. And water cost quite a lot. We would love to have water dispensers to refill.

The hotel is beautiful, the room was modern, well maintained and the staff was very friendly. We like to travel and this is the best hotel that we have been in many years. We had an upgrade of room and the views from the room to the pool and the beach was gorgeous! We went in February, a little windy and cold but sunny and quiet. We used all the facilities and had a very relaxing time.

This was my first holiday in Spain, having visited the main ports as part of a meditaranean cruise. The hotel is approximately 15 minutes walk from the town centre,, though the surrounding area is picturesque to wander about. The hotel is part of a complex in the process of construction, not being to intrusive. We had a wonderful stay at Hipotels Barrosa! The beach and outdoor pool are absolutely amazing and the staff were more than accommodating! Rooms were bright, new, comfortable and clean. The spa was nice but had very limited hours (only 3 hours in the morning and 3 in the afternoon), the spa services were booked the entire weekend we stayed so we weren't able to get in for anything, and the pools in the indoor spa were extremely cold. The weather was pretty cold so we were hoping for a hot tub or at least somewhat warm pool indoors but there weren't any. We also came in the off-season (March) so most of the bars and restaurants out in town were closed... even on a Saturday night! Great little bar and breakfast buffet at the resort though! Other than that, it was a very enjoyable stay!

2 night stay whilst attending MotoGP at Jerez. Excellent service all round. Nature of our trip meant we didn't utilise the facilities but what we did use we were extremely satisfied. Very early checkout was completed with picnic boxes, service and beyond. Thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Very polite and cordial. Explained all the amenities and services to us. Had a very relaxing time at the spa. Enjoy it to the fullest. Will stay here in the future is we visit the area again. If the beds were a little softer it would be excellent.

There is free WiFi in the rooms but the Hotel charges 4.30 Euro per day if you want to use the safe in the room. We found this a bit odd at a five star hotel. But we enjoyed our stay at Hippotels Barrosa Palace with its magnificent views of the Atlantic from one of the best locations south of Cadiz.

I reserved 2 rooms, asking for best view, a bottle of wine and cheese/fruit tray for rooms upon arrival. I asked at check-in if they had accomodated my request, and was told no. The rooms they put us in were as far away from the beach as possible, and were not even the bed type we asked for, with a minimal view of the water. My wife had to rinse mysterious black hair from the tub. I went back to reception to get moved, and was told they had no other rooms available, even though the parking lot was half empty, and we could see empty rooms on other wings. Reception told me they would have housekeeping put our twin beds together to make a king, but it never happened. We went to dinner, and were put in a corner, again with no view of the beach. We were the last table to leave after dinner, and had to walk back through the inside dining room with all the lights off. When back at the room, housekeeping had still not shown up to put the beds together. I called reception again, and magically they had a king room they would move us to, but it was now well after midnight, and I was not going to ask my guests to shuffle this late. In the morning, the hotel director basically called me a liar about my requests, and I had to pull up the reservations on my phone as proof of my requests. The service was horrible, do not expect your requests to be honored, and be prepared to be very disappointed. I am writing their corporate concerning my dis-satisfaction.
