If you have the misfortune to select this Hotel/Spa, be sure to stay several nights as it is a complicated property to familiarize yourself with and has many things going on that are not made clear on check-in or at any time you're searching for answers. Our 2-rooms were in a horrible location, a long way from anything or anyone. For that reason alone, I would NOT stay here again. Even after my request for room change, we received the "we're fully booked" and that didn't please me right from the start. You needed Google GPS or Apple find me to find where anything was. Upon check-in, unknowingly, no robes in the room, expecting them to be in the spa,...they weren't,.. and we were the only ones wrapped in towells when everyone else had their nice plush robes on. Room A/C was NOT working quite well, less than poor location with parking lot/road view, no robes and ridiculous rate. Money (any denomination) to value received was no better then a "3". Skip this place, drive down the road to Vienna, stop and see the Lipizzanners along the way, stay at the Marriott Imperial RIding School Hotel, a Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel,...you'll save money and have a much better experience with a world better value.

Great place, Great staff, Tough location if you are riding your bike there, like we were, on top of a steep hill.

Everything was perfect during our stay

We had a nice two night stay in the hotel. The room was big enough for our stay with comfortable bed. We loved the outdoor pool and the roof bar. We could rent bikes for a day to explore the area and cycle along Danube river. The breakfast was amazing with great selection. Reception staff was very helpful. The only negative is that the outside parking doesn’t have enough spaces for such big hotel, there is a big underground carpark for €16 a day which we thought it’s quite a lot and we thought should be free for hotel customers. Otherwise the hotel is great and was perfect for what we needed.

Lovely hotel with very pretty views of the vineyards. Our room was very large and quiet with comfortable beds.

Very nice hotel, modern rooms, street parking right in front (they also had a garage, I never used it) balcony had views of terraced vineyards and over Krems, plentiful breakfast buffet, nice bar/lounge area, helpful staff, just tops! I didn't use any of the spa services or sauna/pool, but other guests looked happy coming from there! A few good restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk downhill if you don't want to drive. Was there in January; I'm sure it's even lovlier in summer.

Every thing was exceptional and will stay here again.

The Hotel was great for comfort and the Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent!

My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer and take advantage of all the amenities. This place is gorgeous and I plan to return.

Was nice, comfortable. No air conditioning. Was warm in the room but they did have a fan which helped.

When arriving we found out there is old wing and new wing. We needed to pay more money for moving to the new part of the hotel. The hotel is very good. The spa is nice. The service is good. Rooms in new wing are excellent

It’s in the middle of renounced Wachau winery with a good view. There are nice restaurants near around the hotel also hotel itself has got a very good kitchen. Breakfast is super with excellent service. Pool and spa are also great

Unfortunately the spa was closed for nassage treatments because the *only* masseuse they have was positive for COVID apparantly. They did make an effort and arranged another masseuse but massages were rare, limited to 25 minutes, and not very pleasent. Not what you'd expext when comibg to a place that has the word SPA in its name. Other than that- some of the staff did not speak any english. Some had serious attitude issues, especially the ones in the dining room / restaurant, which was aweful by itself. Breakfast served rotten vegetables and spoiled cheese. The guy incharge of the bikes for rent and the house keeping staff were really nice though!

I'm not the type to be negative or complain but I had to say something about this place. The lack of consideration they take regarding hygiene during COVID-19 is despicable - putting others at risk just to be open is unacceptable. On top of this, their front desk was not supportive of my concerns at all. I wish there was better law enforcement around this. Hospitality industry opening during this time need to take the proper precautions to support their guests stay, not increase their risk. They do not take the proper precautions when cleaning rooms during this time, or I suspect outside of the pandemic. The room may appear neat and tidy but counters, basins, windows, door handles are all filthy and not wiped down - in the sense they have residue marks, oily finger/hand prints everywhere, these are very visible marks - not a pedantic viewpoint, but made the entire stay very uncomfortable. Their customer service is dismissive on BOTH occasions I had complained - simply interrupts me and says they will deal with it. They simply sent someone up to 'tidy' the room - no education around what precautions they should be following. They removed €40 of my bill €450+(2 nights) for the 'inconvenience'. Joke. Disappointment around the hygiene and their attitude aside - this is not a nice hotel - nothing special, photos misleading, everything is incredibly average for this place, especially the food. Do not have a romantic or social stay here - 100 better places to stay. Avoid.
