Nice stay, with friendly, helpful staff.

Reception very good and efficient Ground floor room as we had a small dog. It was a disabled room but very tight for two people. The grounds were really a mess overgrown and lots of dog poo lying around. I couldn’t find a bin outside. Rather dated rooms but refurbished nice bathroom. Basic but ok .

The room was clean and basic , the issue we had was the bed was too short

The staff are friendly and accommodating. We were able to leave one of our luggage while we went to the castle for a few hours.

Clean hotel on one level with big rooms with kettle and good bathroom with hairdryer. We had a small patio too. Late check in till 10pm, must vacate by 11am. McDonald’s across the road and Buffalo grill 3 minutes walk up the road - take a torch. Reception very helpful. Car park outside with locked gates.

Basic hotel and value for money. Easy parking but no lift / elevator, only stairs. Friendly helpful receptionist who provided maps of Carcassone. Had kettle in room which was appreciated and unusual in a French hotel. Clean room and comfortable but with basic decor.

Standard tourist hotel. It is the staff that made our stay excellent - very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and locally produced jams. The hotel is about 1.5 km from the castle and about 2.5 km from the city centre. For those with electric vehicles, there is a fast public EV charger less than 1 km from the hotel on an adjacent BMW forecourt. Would certainly recommend this hotel for friends and family looking for a stay in Carcassonne.

Nice place.

Nice enough for a basic one night stopover. They've done well creating a pretty private outdoor seating area with plant pots in an otherwise unattractive backyard area. Inside is adequate space for one person; a little cramped for two.

Just spent the night, nothing really special about it. We arrived late and didn't notice the hotel had a limit on the check in hour. The hotel manager opened the hotel again for us.

The price was spot on. The property was tired and landscaping unkept but the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. This property was close to the citadel and restaurants.

Location easy to find and not too far from Carcassonne old city. Very friendly, helpful staff, clean, reasonably large room, comfortable bed, nice clean sheets & towels. Good shower. Good TV and Wi-fi, wall sockets for charging phone/iPads. The room also had ac/heating which was most welcome as still quite cold at night mid March.

Such a warm and friendly welcome. Easy to reach. the building is old but clean and well maintained

The positives: the staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very nice, wifi was absolutely excellent, the free pool table was a very nice touch, car park facilities were good and location was very handy for la Cite. The negatives: (this may have been just our room) there was a smell of damp and the bathroom was very compact / cramped. Overall: a very decent budget hotel with unusually good wifi but don't expect any frills.

Pretty average hotel, good for an overnight stay. Room small but clean.

Conveniently placed hotel to walk to Carcassonne. Exceptional staff, willing to go the extra mile for your benefit. Very good Italian nearby within walking distance along main road to modern Carcassonne.
