Old dated long way to rooms breakfast awful. Avoid

Staff were great. The room was a deluxe with king bed which was so comfy! The furniture was slightly worn but the bathroom was spotless. I really wasn’t happy with the breakfast. £24 for two people, a cheap half cooked breakfast and limited continental, wasn’t worth the price.

Lovely historic building. Convenient overnight stay in Burnley to visit family.

Pleasant stay . Hotel dated but staff and breakfast was very good . Used health club and pool , sauna, steam room and jacuzzi all very good .

Very old and tired, dangerously frayed and poorly fitted carpets throughout the building, wallpaper peeling off the walls, mould in the bathroom and the air vent was completely blocked with fluff. the cooked Breakfast was acceptable, but I would not say that some bread, a yoghurt, and a poor variety of cereals could be called a continental breakfast. Room was poorly decorated and the bed uncomfortable. This used to be a lovely hotel, but has been run down over the years with little or no investment. Shame, but it could be wonderful if someone was prepared to invest or upkeep it properly.

Overall enjoyable experience

Whilst the building is beautiful itself I feel that the hotel inside is in need of updating and in some areas in need of repairs, our room door had a hole in it, the wallpaper in the room was coming off, the carpets in places threadbare, and many more I could mention, overall this hotel is dated and looks like very little money is spent on it’s upkeep, which is a shame for such a beautiful building.

Lovely quiet hotel, staff are lovely and friendly, overall a very nice stay, I would recommend it for a quiet nights rest

A little disappointed i was not informed of the lack of evening meals availability before/as I booked? price of a pint of beer in the bar! I went to a couple of pubs while in Burnley and a £2 difference in your prices is a lot!

Overall a nice hotel Only complaint was in my room the bathroom was repaired by bodgjt man and there was a loose electrical socket by the TV
