A beautiful hotel but as soon as we entered the hotel had little to no AC. They have a large atrium with glass ceilings. It was a very hot day and either the hotel system could not keep up or was failing. Our room was no different. Stifling hot. We adjusted the temp down but it literally took 10 hours to cool down. We were not alone in talking to other visitors. The hotel offered a different room but same AC problem. Ended up talking to management who disclosed they were having technical difficulties.

The descriptions of dinning hours are confusing. The Terrum Restaurant is not open from Mon to Sat during summer months. I only find that out from the front desk staff when I showed up at the restaurant and saw the door closed. No instructions any where about the hours. The house keeping staff is not well trained. The towers were missing on our second day. The garbage can was left on the vanity. I had to ask the staff to complete the house keeping twice during our 7-day stay. The bar is extremely slow on our third night. We placed our order during half time of a soccer game, did not have our food until the game is over. Then waited another 40 minutes to get the bill. We asked the about the bill twice. I had enough and went to the cashier to ask for the bill. It literally took the server 20 seconds to generate the bill. I do not understand why it had to take so long. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

Room looks just like posted videos or photos; close to everything using Uber or Freenow Taxi; convenient location to airport, city center, outlet malls, Sagrada Família, Park Güell, cruise port and other shopping experiences; for a comfortable stay it’s worth the extra dollars/euros.

We did not have hot water today. We could not regulate air conditioner in our room. Called front desk, maintenance, house keeping several to have some check out the air conditioner however nobody ever picked up the calls! Room was too hot and uncomfortable!

Large clean rooms with a beautiful bathroom. We were treated great and the early check in process was a breeze

Our stay was wonderful! Gemma at Reception took excellent care of us! The bar staff was lovely; offering to put a word in with the front desk when our flight was cancelled in case we needed help with extending our stay!

Overall this is a 5 star Hotel. The room was great and housekeeping was excellent, the breakfast staff and food choices at the buffet were good to accommodate anyone's taste and preferences, the coffee machine was down on our last day but the staff was quick to make our coffee of choice and bring it to our table. The staff was very good when I had question about the Metro service, which we took advantage of since the taxi fees can add up quick, it is a great way to get around and sometimes quicker than a taxi due to traffic. Easy once you figure out the entry and exit, and destinations to get around anywhere in Barcelona. The only shortcoming was at the check in when we arrived early due to coming in of a cruise ship, we had to wait until check in time which was 3PM, we arrived around 9AM. The lobby was full of people waiting on their room and no one was let in until it was time not one minute before, Being a little tired and not really being familiar with the area we just waited hoping they would call us in early, but it did not happen. Would highly recommend since it is very nice and close enough to all the areas of interest.

Great stay

Excellent Hotel. Would definitely recommend to others, we had a normal room but upgraded to the suite. Best choice ever, was a great way to end our honeymoon after the cruise.
