This is a mid tier hotel and a very nice one for it. The room (superior double) faced the road to the rear of the hotel and was on the top floor. We didn't hear much of anything from the street. The staff were helpful and nice, and the lift was somehow always right there every time. Breakfast was nice with a decent selection for a hotel of this size. It's 5 minutes from almost everything on foot and we couldn't have asked for better in that regard - close to everything but not noisy! The Aircon control was kind of hard to use, and the light switches didn't all have button covers on them, and quite a lot of the switches didn't control anything but otherwise everything was in good working order. The shower was always hot. The Google reviews made me worry a little if I'm honest, but we didn't experience anything I'd read as a concern.

Positive: Staff was super nice. The room seemed bigger than mentioned. Location is great. Wifi in the room was about 100mbs - perfect for some video calls. Good value for money. Everything was clean. Nice soft modern bed. Neutral: Breakfast was nothing special but adequate. Negative: There was a little bit of noise from the street / hallway - not terrible though. The smell of the cleaning supplies or some type of air freshener was pretty strong.

We booked our room August, 2025. When we arrived on the afternoon of May 20, 2026, the room had been given away. They offered us a room in an attic, up a creaky staircase with a door that required a key from 1800’s…The space was creepy, like a scary movie. This room was located in the “Do not enter, alarm will go off” area. As 2 70+ year olds, there was no way we could manage the stairs with our bags and it felt totally unsafe where they had trouble getting key to work. We honestly thought we could be trapped in the attic. I wish I could post my picture of how creepy this was. We declined & they magically found another room. We then were required to repack to another room the next night. The only highlight in this scenario was Reception Lu. She was very genuinely awesome & tried her best to make a horrible situation better. Also, breakfast was awful- horrible fake eggs, orange juice that was more than 50% water. Never again.

The hotel was well located. The room was strangely designed. Our room had steps to enter and a strange door key. The room was large and the bathroom was nice but there was a step up to get to the bedroom from the bathroom which was not ideal.

Nice but small (typical for area) clean room. Nice facility on narrow street. Very close to major tourist attractions such as Duomo, Galleries and lots of excellent restaurants. Breakfast was ok, not great but convenient and clean. Very friendly staff and elevator. No parking.

The front desk staff at this property was above and beyond efficient, professional and welcoming. Amazing. The mold all over the bathroom wood floor and walls was a serious concern. The housekeeper couldn’t seem to figure out that you replace dirty coffee cups and not just leave them on the desk for 3 days in a row. All in all the hotel could use a serious refresh. The location is perfect and central.

Everything was fine checking in, even the front desk lady showed me, where the breakfast area and the elevator going to the room. It’s the art hotel for those who love antique furniture, besides everything was okay. Except the downside was the mattress, when I laid down on the bed it goes down. Needed to use my hand to hold the edge of the bed to get up. Maybe it’s just me over 200 lbs

The women and the younger guy at the front desk were terrible at best. They acted like we were bothering them when asking simple questions. When we were checking in, I told the older woman that I had gotten my phone stolen and she had zero empathy. Did not care to not offer to help at all. The elevator shaft is unbelievably disgusting. There is oil dripping on the windows and dust on the oily shafts. So gross I couldn’t even look at it. The hotel needs to be updated. In the bathroom, there was a piece of broken wood. Obviously, I do not recommend this hotel at all

Everything was great although the noise from the street in front of the house was loud all night long with people partying and talking loudly. So if you need a good night sleep and are noise sensitive, I recommend asking for a room that does not face the street.

Excellent boutique hotel with easy walking access to most of the key sights in Florence. The Reception team was extremely helpful especially with local travel advice, early breakfast bag (for an early day trip) and luggage storage. A special mention to Ricardo who was always willing to help.

I stayed in the Borghese Art Palace Hotel in Florence this past week. The room was clean, comfortable, and the staff were very professional and nice. I would stay there again and plan to during my next visit to Florence later this year.
