Room and bathroom were very clean. Plenty of tea and coffee. Two bottles of spring water were welcomed.
Tv control was not working properly. It seemed to be broken but it’s not a problem for us. Parking was easy and lots of spaces.

Housekeeping didn’t clean our room although we left for the day at 10am and put please clean the room sign on the door.
The staff did not understand what brandy was when we asked for it at the bar.

I did just one night and I enjoyed my stay. Anytime I visit West Sussex I’d definitely stay in Hickstead hotel. Customer service 100% nice room, neat and calm.

Drains stink, tv didn't work and was replaced, but then the manager guy was replacing TVs in loads of rooms all evening. Half the menu was unavailable and the restaurant was freezing. Not good. Shame really.

Staff friendly enough. Nothing special. The bar was not stocked .. the remote control very temperamental .. heating on full with no thermostat in the room. Room clean but dated.

Staff were helpful, appreciated there was a travel cot in my room ready which I had requested - this wasn’t guaranteed with the room I had booked. Nice and quiet. Restaurant available if you need it (I didn’t use it this time).
