Beautiful hotel, near great food options!

As always excellent!

This hotel had high average review, which was why we booked it. However, we were not happy with a few things about the room. First of all, we had a room with a bathtub and a hand held wand for showing. We didn't realize that if we wanted a shower, we had to book a room specifically with a shower. I have never had to do that before. Second, the central air/heat was controlled by the front desk so we had to call the front desk to have the room temperature adjusted from heat to cool and back. Third, Rue Taylor is narrow side street that didn't seem all that safe at night. There were often some unseemly characters lurking about nearby, which was uncomfortable, since the street was rather secluded. Fourth, the toilet was contained is a separate room/stall with its own door and handle. There was no wash basin in it. So after using the toilet, you had to leave the closet and go to the bathroom to wash your hands. Having said all that, the hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and the towels were changed every day. They didn't have one of those 'environmentally guilty' signs about reusing the towels and out towels were changed regardless of whether they were on the floor or on the rack. We liked that.

Small boutique hotel in a quiet location, with stylish decorations. Good breakfast, which is pretty good value for the price. Very clean room. Staff are friendly, but sadly were not overly understanding or helpful when an error made by them impacted our stay. They also tried to charge us a ridiculous amount for the loan of an umbrella. Unfortunately these couple of issues had an impact on what otherwise would have been a very nice stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff alone are reason why I would stay here again. The hotel itself was very nice and comfortable too, in a very good location.

Clean, cute boutique hotel in upper marais. Close to transportation and walkable everywhere. Small rooms but efficient and clean. Highly recommend

Located in a nice and quiet street with cafés and shops just around the corner. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is delicious, and both the lobby and rooms are pleasant. Overall very pleased with my stay.

I’ve stayed at Hotel Taylor many times and have usually been happy with the accommodations, service, and rooms. Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing due to an interaction with one of the male reception staff. I had booked a privilege room for two people in case my friend decided to join me, which she did at the last minute. I went to confirm the night before there would be no issue if she checked in before me the next day while I was working.The receptionist insisted I had booked a solo room and refused her stay to me, and told me, “I think I know how to do my job,” when I questioned it. After I showed him my confirmation, he said there was a system issue, with no apology for either the mistake or his rude behaviour. Because Hotel Taylor was fully booked prior to this stay, I had also stayed at 9Hotel République, where I received much better service and genuinely kind, helpful staff. Based on this experience, I will certainly reconsider my stay next time.

Good location, friendly staff. Unfortunately, the room was relatively noisy due the location towards the courtyard. Towels could be cleaner, and the room setup could be improved (eg, no mirror within the room - only in the bathroom, separate wardrobe for jackets missing). Breakfast was fairly basic (especially for the price).

Always a good choice. Well located with great spots within easy walking distance. Multiple metro stations a short walk away.

Excellent hotel for value for money. On the edges of Le Marais and a relatively easy walk to get there. Very convenient location from Gare Du Nord (20min walk). Exceptional room sizes (selling point for us and why we picked the hotel). Fantastic size bathroom, just a shame the shower drain didn't function well enough and we had to use towels to prevent water leaking into the whole bathroom!! Exceptionally friendly and accommodating service, all 3 receptionists were a delight! Nothing was a hassle for them. Incredible value for money considering the date we booked - could not recommend more!!

Room was small but clean. Bathroom was very tiny and I am only 5'8". Staff were friendly and spoke English. Breakfast included an excellent selection and was very fresh. Hotel was close to metro stations. Overall safe neighborhood. Hotel is tucked away in a side street so it wasn't too loud.
