Stayed here 3 nights for a WC game, I made my reservation and paid months in advance for a room with 2 queen size beds. Upon check in I was told the room was not available and they only had a room with 1 king size bed, additionally they said it would not be possible to get a roll away bed, extra blankets or switch rooms during our stay. I was there with my 2 teenagers and although we made it work we had 3 very uncomfortable nights.

El hotel está un poco viejo. Huele mucho a humedad . Los elevadores muy lentos . De los 3 , uno descompuesto. Las alfombras sucias . Bufete variado calidad normal .

Ubicacion

I always stay at the Barcelo in Madrid. So, when I saw that they recently opened in Monterey, I booked a room for 2 nights. However, they took over this hotel in December from another group, and it was not comparable to the Madrid experience. The hotel bar was really bad! However, the breakfast was TOP, and the service from all employees, except 1, was excellent. Apparently, the computer system did not work when I checked in, so I did not have credit. They did not advise me. When they closed the bar they could not close the room charge and called my room at midnight, when I was sleeping. That really destroyed my night! The room 3505 was large and absolutely great. Overall, it was good and acceptable.
