Our stay at Hotel Cartier was one of the best experiences we've had while traveling. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our visit, and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. A special mention goes to Anna, who greeted us after a stressful journey involving delayed luggage. She was incredibly kind and proactive, coordinating directly with the airline personals the delivery of our bags and easing what could have been a frustrating start to our trip. Her thoughtfulness, along with the help she offered with various other requests during our stay, truly stood out. The friendly service extended throughout the hotel, including at breakfast, where the staff were equally welcoming and attentive. It was a lovely way to start each morning and added to the overall warm atmosphere of our stay. The hotel's location is both quiet and central, offering a peaceful retreat while still being within easy reach of many popular tourist attractions, restaurants, and shops. It made exploring the city effortless and convenient. We would happily return to Hotel Cartier and highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent service, a great location, and a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere.

City centre hotel with no frills, good location right in the center of old town St Malo. Very good buffet breakfast, staff are fantastic and helpful. Rooms are clean and tidy but lacking in clothes storage basically none other than 4 coat hangers!

We were very happy with this hotel in a very central position in the historic part of the city. The personnel here were always abundantly friendly and helpful, and rooms were tidied up daily (including all of the towels). There is a French breakfast every morning, the coffee machine runs without oat milk or the like. But a vegetarian definitely finds enough to eat here. Honorable mention to the artists and musicians who we could listen to right in front of the main entrance and from our room in the afternoon! A beautiful setting indeed.

Location was incredibly central and staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an early checkout and they offered to prepare breakfast for us to go. Rooms were small but functional and clean.

Had a fantastic experience during my 4-night stay for a work trip. The location is perfect inside the intra-muros, breakfast was lovely, and the room, though on the smaller size, was perfectly comfy for what I needed. The highlight was definitely the staff, from the reception to the cleaning staff, and specially the manager Valéria, who went above and beyond for the clients!
