Beautiful hotel with gorgeous views and a great location. Quality of service has declined over the years. The fire alarm went off at 4 am and there were no staff members around to direct us at all. We were eventually told to go back to our rooms, woken up and sent outside again 15 minutes later and then told to return by the fire department. There was a lot of confusion. The hot tub in the spa area was not hot at all. We had a comfortable stay overall but it’s clear that the hotel is not what it used to be.

Absolutely perfect!

The staff was really great, especially the valets and people at the bar were very kind and friendly. The welcome chocolates were nice. The room was very large with a pretty sitting area and fireplace. Showers were nice. robes were really fluffy. Beds were very comfortable and linens were exceptionally soft. The food was great; we ate here three times. Close to the mountain and ski area with lots of hiking paths near by. Nespresso coffee pods and real half and half was nice. The spa and gym were nice with hot tub overlooking the infinity pool and lake and sauna. The duvet smelled a bit like cleaning material (maybe recently laundered) but it was not a big problem. It would have been great if they had an arborist trim the trees. We paid for a lakeview room, but the trees were so thick you only got peekaboo views of the lake. I would have loved a few additional amenities like bikes to use, kayaks or paddleboards.

Overall great experience. Room service could be improved, we had some back and forth regarding missing items a few times. I would still go back.

Great place to celebrate an anniversary!

Loved our stay. Would have liked a recycle can in our room, as well as a side table near the couch for drinks while watching tv and relaxing. Otherwise wouldn’t have changed a thing!
