Nice little hotel. Our room was very warm and we could not turn on the air conditioning - it had just been turned off for the change of the season. So we sweated in the room. The offer a breakfast that is very good with lots of options. The gentleman servicing us was very nice! We tried to order a drink off the bar menu but the woman running the bar would not do it. Confusing since it's on the menu! There is a very nice pool and on the roof a hot tub. The only thing we didn't like was the rug in the elevator smelled like mauldy socks.

This is a lovely traditional Italian hotel. The staff is great, incredibly helpful and nice. The pool and landscaping are beautiful. Excellent breakfast! Only minor complaint: The showers could be improved - we had 2 different rooms and neither had a shower that functioned really well. We plan to return to Villa Sofia.

Very exquisite older property. The grounds are lovely. The breakfast is done very well. Had a bit of a challenge with the air conditioning. It was either freezing or off- couldn't find any happy medium. Beautiful old building.

I felt like we booked a room I literally in paradise. All the staff were welcoming and kind. Margarita went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and a wonderful memory that we will never forget. The breakfast was fabulous, too. I really can not say enough about this enchanting property in Gardone Riviera!

My sister and i had a very nice room with a fantastic virw. My brother was not so lucky. He said his room was very old and balcony had a view of trees.

Great stay. Very helpful reception staff, easy check in and assistance provided when requested. Plenty of parking available during trip. Room was clean and tidy.

Beautiful setting on quiet street very close to the village above and Salò below. Lovely breakfast inside, in sunroom or on the terrace. Wide selection of hot and cold items plus espresso, cappucino and cafe Americano. Fresh fruits and juices. Wonderful pool to relax after a day of sightseeing. Great choice in Lake Garda.

There is no restaurant in this hotel but plenty within easy walking distance provided you are able-bodied and fit. They can also book you in to their partner hotel's dining room if you have a car for a short drive down the hill

Excellent in every respect. Beautiful grounds. Gracious service and attention to detail. We loved the view of the lake from our room.

It was excellent. Just one thing that needs to be done and that is to get a rail put in swimming pool. You could easily slip.

So peaceful in a lovely setting. Staff can’t do enough for you. An amazing hotel and I wish to return.

The staff were welcoming and friendly superb selection at the buffet breakfast. The hotel was also kept clean and tidy. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends and family.

It has been a very nice couple of days! The room was spacious and quiet, only the showerhead was furred up and caused flooding. Breakfast was very nice and sufficient. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful at all times. The entire Hotel is very well maintained and neat. Our dog was also very welcome. Location is brilliant, well situated to walk up the hill for lunche and to the village centre for dinner. All in all, we'll definitely return.

It was so very green and peaceful , the pool was good, deep enough and the view from the Jacuzzi on the top floor excellent. The staff were delightfully helpful and knowledgeable.

This hotel is wonderful set back slightly from the lake and in an idylic peaceful spot surrounded by wonderful trees and gardens. Staff are delightful, lovely pool and our room was lovely. We will return, a small slice of heaven.

A warm friendly welcome from all the staff, breakfast staff were particularly helpful and quick to bring your choice of hot drink each day. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and yummy. Fresh croissants, pain au chocolate, pastries, scrambled eggs, sausage, cheese, ham, fruit, cereal, juice. Our room was on the second floor, a corner room. The decor was lemon and blue, typically Italian and felt authentic. A lovely balcony, we were amongst the tree tops which did reduce the light in the room and we did get traffic noise as we were on the corner of the building near to the road. It wasn't too distracting though. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom huge. I am not too fond of a shower curtain and would have preferred a screen. The roof terrace and hot tub are a good addition. We didn't get the chance to use the outdoor pool due to the weather changing. We did visit the sister hotel to use their spa facilities which was a bonus on a wet day. The building is set in its own grounds and only a short walk from many restaurants, cafes and bars. Highly recommended.

Quaint little hotel in a good location to the lake and a number of restaurants close to the Vittoriale. Breakfast was lovely with the most amazing pastries and a good selection of cheeses, meats and cereals, although not a lot of hot options. There is no option for lunch/evening meals at the hotel but the staff were very good at recommending a number of places to visit. The rooms were spacious, clean, tidy and well equipped, only issue was the shower which seemed to have a mind of itself in terms of pressure and temperature. By far the best thing about this hotel was the staff, throughout they couldn’t do enough to help us, which added to the experience and ensured we had a fabulous stay. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and an amazing rooftop terrace with beautiful views of the lake and the added bonus of a hot tub. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone.
