We stayed for 1 night for our wedding anniversary. The hotel and grounds are fantastic and staff are very attentive. The food (dinner & breakfast) were both very nice. We stayed in room 43, a double deluxe. The room & bathroom were a nice size and clean, the bed was comfortable too. The reason we only gave a 3 is we had a really bad night's sleep due to a loud humming noise, we had the night manager up to the room to listen but he didn't know what it could be. Shame really as otherwise it would have been a great stay.

Reception was excellent, very helpful and friendly. The room was extremely clean, well equipped and quiet. Everytime I stay here, it is excellent.

Great hotel

Beautiful grounds, a comfortable bed, clean and tidy with attentive staff. It is always a pleasure to stay at Gorse Hill

We did use the bar but it is expensive so be warned. Overall very pleasant place nice grounds and the breakfast was small portions .

Very disappointing overall. Upon arrival, the receptionist couldn’t find our booking because it had been accidentally deleted by the reservation team. Thankfully, a helpful manager eventually provided us with a room. The room itself was quite small, with tiny beds and a poor layout. The bathroom had a large, unused empty space, while the main room barely had enough space to place luggage on the floor. There was no fridge, and the decoration was very basic and uninspiring. Also had a strong strange smell. On the positive side, the rooms were clean and seemed fairly new, and the garden area is nice. However, the hotel was hosting a wedding during our stay, which made it quite noisy. Overall, I would avoid booking this hotel.

Staff ( receptionist) it was very kind and helpful. My room freshly renovated and very comfortable bed. I liked the breakfast.

Room was clean and the bed comfortable. Only one bedside table but I think that was because we had a standard double room. The staff were friendly and helpful. Grounds well kept and adequate parking

Clean and nice, but nothing to around it. Breakfast was nice and there is a gym and a bar. The staff was friendly and helpful. It would be a wonderful health resort if they add a spa, sauna, etc.

The hotel is old but well maintained and charming. The back garden is lovely. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

Clean room, lovely staff and brilliant breakfast. The gardens were so lovely, very well kept. I would recommend staying here.,we stayed here for the night with our 2 little dogs.

The reception staff are very helpful, rooms are big ,housekeeping not very good as the left socks from previous guest in wardrobe, the shower not cleaned properly, the towels are clean and good size ,are be nice to have facecloth ,the breakfast is a bit confusing but nice . T
