Great room, large and spacious with a good view from the balcony. Our room was upgraded on check-in. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The inside pool was a little small, so crowded at times, but still a good place to relax. The TemptAsian restaurant served excellent food. The hotel was ideally located for walking to the Sliema ferry/buses and to local restaurants as well.

Everything was excellent

Everything about the AX The Palace was truly amazing, loads to around this location. It’s only a short walk to the sea front with connections to Valletta. All the tours operators are near by so booking is easy. We found a local shopping centre only 14mins away called The Point and getting a Bolt locally was so easy. The hotel has everything from a Roof top bar, indoor pool and gym.

The hotel was exceptional with regards to facilities and location. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The two areas which let down our overall experience were: 1. When we arrived (after 21:00) there were no real options for dinner at the hotel. We ended up having a sandwich at the bar downstairs. 2. An incident concerning the lack of prior notice re access to Mrs Mather’s room. I raised a complaint with the night manager and my concerns were not addressed to my satisfaction nor was there any real acknowledgment of my concerns.
