Very good hotel! Even in the off season. When it says limited parking it does mean LIMITED as employees take up half the spots. You can still park for the same price and they will pick up your car and drive it to their extra lot, you just need to give them an hour notice if you want your car.

This property is very well maintained and at one end of the busy shopping district. It is about a 20 minute walk from the bus and train station. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast is very good. The staff in the breakfast area are kind and efficient. The hotel is also good value for your money (we stayed 4 nights). It is worth the rating I have provided.

Short 4 day stay for a Sorrento wedding. Hotel was clean, staff were friendly and informative. Simple but tasty breakfast.

October 20-25, 2024 Our stay of five nights was excellent! The perfect location in Sorrento, quiet and very easy to walk to all areas of Sorrento. The staff were very helpful, friendly and ensured our stay was a comfortable and enjoyable one. They helped with suggestions for tours to the Almafi coast. Very clean rooms, comfortable and a quiet atmosphere. The breakfast included in our stay was very satisfying with a variety of foods to choose from and delicious cappuccino! A definite great place to stay!

What an amazing property we chose for our stay!! I would highly recommend The Hotel Rivage to anyone planning a trip to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast!! The staff as very helpful with any questions, not to mention the Bar/Restaurant!!! The food prepared was pretty close to Michelin grade to say the least. Local seafood caught that day and prepped…WOW WOW!! We will be staying there again for sure!!!!❤️

Beautiful property. Our room had a good size balcony with lovely view of the ocean. We enjoyed it every evening. Hotel was clean and well cared for. Excellent breakfast buffet with attentive staff also with ocean view. Enjoyed our stay.

Mold everywhere!! Not a very friendly staff at reception, they don’t great you. No water pressure in shower, leaks everywhere. Our friends were moved to a 5 star hotel without notice and there was 8 of us in the group

The breakfast ALONE was fabulous and with an incredible view! The room was wonderful. I had a private balcony I really enjoyed. It was clean, great temperature, guiet and bathroom had a roomy shower. Loved it. Great stay! 3 days in Oct 2024 Denise

Great location & balcony sea views. Breakfast could use more variety. Hotel rooms a bit dated. Nice bathroom & shower, however shower easily floods.

Close to the main strip of shops and restaurants but not loud

Great view and location. Room was perfect for the family. Clean and tidy and extra bathroom was a bonus Lovely views over Bay of Naples and also kids loved the pool. Close to train station and short walk to Corso. Great place to stay for a few days.

The hotel is well located in a walkable area, the breakfast is good but the rooms are outdated and not comfortable, the bedsheets and towels need an improvement

Sorrento itself is beautiful! The hotel on the other hand is nice but… there is no parking, so they park your car off site and charge you extra. The rooms are very stuffy, the air conditioning does not work. I went up to the front desk and explained to them that my air conditioning is not working and that the room is very hot and stuffy, But I got no help from the front desk. They just said that the air conditioning is working according to their computer screen. When I told them to come to the room to see what I was talking about, They refused to come to the room, And never offered any other accommodations. I even asked for a fan and they refused. Another thing was the mattress it was so thin and not comfortable which really surprised me for the money they charge. Lastly I was emailed a total from the hotel and then billed $200 more than what I was quoted on the first bill. So Overall experience is not so great.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel staff are lovely and helpful. The pool was great in the heat. The pool, bar, restaurant and communal areas are really nicely done. Our room clean and cool and did what we needed it to (although I was expecting something a little more lux given the rest of the hotel, the price and the pictures on the web). All in all, would recommend.

The breakfast was incredible. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. There were ants in the room and others ha the same problem.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Very close and walkable to everything in sorrento downtown. The pool and deck chairs were great for our july stay. Pool never too crowded. Our room was very large and comfortable for our family of 4. Great stay overall

The location was great and the staff was very helpful! The room could have been a bit updated but it was a really enjoyable stay!

Hotel was clean, staff friendly, and in a perfect location! However the air conditioning was broken the day before arrival and we were not able to cool the room during the four nights of stay. While the unit was running, the room was always warm and stuffy. Otherwise, great hotel.

Great pool, sub par cleanliness

Rooms are a good size, clean and well serviced. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but maybe a bit more varying of items each day. Close to all the action five minute walk to main area of shops and restaurants. Pool is smaller than images portrayed but is still good. Very happy with visit
