The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and clean. I am a coeliac and the staff went out of their way to meet my gluten free requirements. The only criticism I have was when we had dinner in the Olive Tree restaurant and my soup (vegetable) was just lukewarm, almost cold, and a little too spicy and salty. The roast potatoes were delicious but the broccoli was hard and undercooked. At breakfast the choice was diverse and amazing. A suggestion would be that when the dishes are replenished that what was lying there previously could be removed so that all the hot food is fresh and not mixed up with what had been on the hot plate for a while. Sorry if that sounds negative. The staff are really very courteous and helpful. I was given a lift up to the carpark because i was struggling with all my bags. I thought that was nice. Thank you, Celtic Manor.
