Breakfast buffet was excellent! Views overlooking the Bay and Digby were awesome 👌

The staff was very helpful especially Fareesa, she was amazing. There was a little issue with our room, and she was very accommodating and changed our room.

The exterior of the building was fairly run down and the room we stared in was very old. It was clean though. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay. It is a buffet with several options. I’m gluten free so I didn’t eat from the regular buffet other than the bacon, but they did make me some eggs Benedict on gluten free that was very yummy. Would stay here again.

All went well and the Inn was a pleasant place to be and comfortable. Rooms well appointed with comfortable beds and other facilities.

Clean and quiet

Very disappointed. This COULD be a beautiful place with a large investment. It looks like they have given up. The hotel is run down and need of major repairs. The hotel is dirty. It needs a deep clean. Our room was small, dated, dirty and need of several repairs. The included breakfast is okay, nothing that you couldn’t get at any diner. The staff in the restaurant at breakfast were attentive and nice. The grounds are nice, but again they need several gardeners to weed, and tidy things up. We spoke to several other guests and they were also disappointed. The pictures are very dated, the hotel does not look like the pictures. You would be better off spending less and staying at one of the places downtown Digby. It is such a shame, this place could be beautiful but it is obvious it has been severely neglected. 2* hotel at best. The SPA is a different story. Great staff and excellent services. Had an amazing facial and a massage. I would recommend even if you are not staying at the hotel.

Was given no information about the resort at check-in; nothing more than the room key. Property is very worn and shabby. Peeling paint all over property. Bathroom was minuscule with ancient controls for the small shower. Bedskirt and curtains looked decades old and unclean. I’m sure this was a beautiful spot 30 years ago, but certainly not now.

The food for dinner was delicious. Breakfast being included was great. The property is lovely. Having the sitting area outside was wonderful. A few more chairs in the four-season room would be ideal. Music in the evening was a nice way to end the day. Great place

Very good breakfast buffet.

Everything was great! We were lucky to speak to a gentelman (tall, positive, with gray hair and glasses) from the reception who provided excellent overview of Digby area and islands. He also mentioned Maude Lewis's museum and we glad we attended it.

Stay was great. Very limited handicap access

Once upon a time, I imagine that this resort used to be really something. Alas, it's fallen on hard times since the current owners have failed to maintain this property. The rooms could do with a jolly good clean. The carpets throughout need shampooing &/or replacing. The pool was out of service as was the steam room - THEY ACTIVELY ADVERTISE THEIR SPA FACILITIES?! The "trails" around the grounds are poorly maintained. The tennis courts are overgrown with weeds, shrubs & trees. A real shame. Where are the owners? Have they not visited this past decade? Three nights. The staff NEVER attended to our room, not even once. Large suite with a bay view. So the bedroom was large with an insanely sized very very comfortable bed, however, the bathroom was tiny - so tiny that actually trying to use it proved challenging. A very large bedroom but with a laughably small bathroom. Why? All of the windows were sealed & could not be opened, so no fresh sea air to enjoy within the room. The breakfast was consistently good: lots to choose from. The prunes & yogurt were exceptional :) Fresh fruit - not so much, unless you only want to eat melon melon melon. Dining table service & bar service was very much a hit & miss affair :( I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the owners eventually decide to restore this property to something close to it's former glory, it'll require MAJOR investment & completely new management. But it could be done, I'd like to think so.
