Check in was smooth and efficient with friendly staff. There was a space for a fridge in the room but no actual fridge. We phoned reception to query this and they provided a fridge. We felt that parking was expensive (£15 a day) but, having secured a space, it was reserved for us for the length of our stay. We loved the hotel but it was a heatwave weekend and there was no air conditioning. They provided a fan but the room was very hot all weekend. We loved the quiet outdoor seating area where many a drink was consumed.

Great location for Harrowgate, friendly staff and enjoyed our room - but be aware, some are in the eaves with limited headroom!

Took 20 minutes to check in, 15 minutes to check out - need better technology for sure. Breakfast was very disappointing - have breakfast over the road at Bettys opens at 9. Beware when you ask for bottled water - it’s not what you think - it’s from a tap water filter machine decanted into a washed up bottle- they don’t tell you that!

Central location, travelling for business so unable to use facilities. Slightly dated.

Lovely comfortable room with deep relaxing bed. Bathroom was a bit dates but everything worked.

Checkin Receptionist was good, helpful and polite however the bartender was very unhelpful and confusing, said there was no room for one person in the restaurant (even though it was half empty and only 7.00pm), offered bar food then said I couldn’t have bar food as the chef wouldn’t serve anyone else at 7.30, nothing like a bit of customer service to a regular visitor

Room was spotless, the bed very comfortable and the staff were very courteous and patient. Food and drink a little on the expensive side but am sure similar hotels were the same. Overall would recommend this hotel. Thank you

This is my favorite hotel in Harrogate. The location is fabulous, and the hotel’s deluxe rooms are spacious. I stayed for 16 nights this trip, and as always, the staff are professional, positive, and take care of any needs that arise. As a single woman, I also value the hotel having professional staff at their front desk 24 hours a day. I will continue to stay here every time I’m in town.

Junior suite very, big, comfortable, clean and well appointed but an odd long shape, good if you had kids on the sofa bed. Staff very helpful and the food in the restaurant was good. Like all Hotel Du Vin 's we have been in recently the leather head and foot board's on the beds need either replacing or repairing, dying and polishing.
