Good breakfast always nice staff

Staff were very nice. Stored our luggage from 9am when our train got there. Very nice historic hotel. Felt upscale.

Old charming building, good breakfast

The people whom I dealt with here were quite pleasant, and the prices are good. The bathtub in my room was satisfyingly deep and the water pressure was fantastic.

This is the second time that I have stayed at the Merihovi hotel. Room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. I would stay here again if I go back to Kemi.

I am really impressed with this hotel. It is only 10-15 minutes walk away from the train station. I was able to check in early due to my train journey from Helsinki arriving at 09.45. So I did not have to wait around until 14.00. I would stay here again.

Quite basic hotel.. Nothing fancy.. Friendly staff.. Building could use some renowating..

Fantastic, central location, easy walking distance to everything in a small town. Nice complimentary breakfast. The hotel is old, the public rooms are pleasant but the individual rooms could use updating. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would consider staying there again. Monet kiitokset!

My husband and I went on a small trip just to get away. I’ve never heard of the hotel before but it looked interesting and we chose it to be where we would stay. Was totally positive experience, hotel is older but very clean. We’ve stayed at newer hotels that had an awful smell in the lobby and in the halls this hotel smelled nothing. No bad aroma no hints of old. Breakfast was good Good not as much geared towards American travelers but still good. In the bar We got to hear pretty good band playing, they also had open mic between band songs and some of the open performers were amazing singers and musicians. Highly recommend this hotel great location, great service, very clean, overall very positive

Historical hotel where I stayed first time. I liked the place but it weared and teared. That didn't bother me but it if you like that everything is perfect then you should consider some other hotel.

Very run down. Looks like it used to be a grand hotel but it’s barely maintained now.

Lovely staff, the room was cute and embraced the Art Deco feel. Had it’s own sauna which was great. Nice and cosy after walking around town. Best place to stay if touring with sea Lapland safari.

Stunning Art Deco Hotel, central to transport, walking distance to the sea, close to amenities. It you appreciate historical architecture you will love this hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was not only delicious and a wonderful variety, it was served in the Grand Ballroom which was an amazing room to enjoy.
