We stayed at this location while in Barcelona this June and it was a great location in the middle of everything close walk to all shops restaurants the bus and the metro really enjoyed the room was happy. They had luggage storage air-conditioning Wi-Fi all included. They had a nice pool on rooftop and were very accommodating assisted with reserving taxis for airport. I travel and we’re very accommodating assisted with reserving taxis for airport. I traveled with my adult kids, my sister-in-law, my husband, it was a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. Well kept property.

Great location in the Gothic Quarter. Short walk to La Rambla. This was our second stay at Catalonia Avinyo, and it was good for us both times.

The perfect petit hotel at an amazing location for those who want to stay within the Gothic quarter areas. Highly recommend it.

Overall, everything was great. We had two rooms and the kid's room was excellent (two teens, twin beds). The parents room was extremely humid for some reason. All of our clothes that we hung up for the 4 nughts and bed linens always felt damp. Our shower had the smallest of glass walls with no door and we couldn't shower unless we were up against the far wall and still everything got wet. Minor inconvenience but still a great stay.

Good stay and location. Only drawback was that it was rather loud from the street below late at night. Otherwise a nice hotel

This hotel was clean and unique with a modern flair. The service and attention provided at the front desk was well worth it. It was extremely centralized to most everything including shops of all kinds, cafes, restaurants, bars, metros, taxis and all within walking distance. Barcelona's main thoroughfare called 'las Ramblas' was a short distance away, including the port within a short taxi ride. There were squares of all shapes and sizes nearby, all filled with people walking around, seating and eating and enjoying the ambiance at all times. If you can't find somewhere to eat around here, you have a major problem. The only inconvenience we had was the a/c in our room. Every time we returned to it, it took forever for the room to cool enough to be comfortable.

Hotel Catalonia Avinyo was a great home away from home for us The location was really good - not too hectic of an area but definitely near anything you'd need or want The front desk staff was very friendly and chatted with us anytime we had a question They also were able to check us in several hours before official check in time, which was very much appreciated Convenient little cafe in the lobby too The bedroom and bathroom were nice and clean And now ... the breakfast. If you like a hearty meal to start your day, don't pass up the breakfast. Fantastic way to start the day. Thank you Catalonia Avinyo and staff!!

Solo female traveler here. I felt safe, plus the hotel was in an amazing location. No sounds from the street keeping me up at night. AC works. Stay here.

Excellent hotel and location

Fantastic! Right in the delightful alleyways of Barcelona. Walk to la Rambla. Eat tapas in a delightful plaza.f

Plumbing problem in the bathroom with the toilet water would not shut off. Was very loud all night.

Very good of you are planning to sleep only. Booked taxi in the morning for me. Excellent service.

Great spot to setup while in Barcelona. Very close walking distance to Les Ramblas and the Metro. Room was exceptional and made good use of the space available. There is a shared working space in the lobby which is great along with cardio equipment onsite.

Great area and great clean hotel room!

Great location, lovely breakfast and nice cafe bar in reception. Room was a good size , windows stopped the outside noise and curtains hid the daylight well. Was perfect for a short city break with my teenage son.

I didn't have a meal there. I loved the room. I loved the big shower. I would have liked to have wash cloths.

Loved the small bar in the lobby. Very useful to get a drink and take to rooftop lounge.
