I was upgraded from a single to a double room, which was a nice surprise. The room was spacious and very clean. It was however, slightly chilly as the heated towel rail in the bathroom was turned off. I hunted everywhere for a switch and eventually asked staff member, who showed me it was above head height, above the door! Once turned on, the room took some time to warm up. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were delighted with the family room! There was so much space for the three of us and we had a very comfortable stay.

Recently refurbished lovely hotel.

The room was clean and virtually new as just been revamped. Fantastic shower room and large bed. All brilliant.

Plenty of parking & nice meals. The room had recently been refurbished and was very nice but the refurbishment was obviously ongoing in other areas.

Modern, clean room

Newly refurbished room, but the TV didnt work, the gutter outside the window was overflowing, and they started builers works at 6am in the room behind our bed head.

Lovely newly decorated and refurbished rooms. Breakfast service was fab. Evening meal was just as good. Had two very spoilt dogs with us.

Lovely large room and en-suite. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable overnight stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, ready for crossing on the Channel Tunnel next morning. Beautiful gardens, good food, very nice room. I hadn't realised there was no lift, but the friendly staff helped us with our suitcases 👍

Nice hotel albeit a little dated in places. Comfortable rooms with comfortable beds. The food is best classified as “pub” food but it is quick and good quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff friendly and helpful, bar area clean and tidy. Rooms where tired and need of renovation, with that said I suppose the price reflected that ??? Would stay again for convenience though.

Noise from both the band in the bar then staff moving around cleaning at 12am Shame as otherwise a good hotel with good food

It's great stay as usual. Well situated for my business visits. Stayed here a number of times and enjoyed my stay. Service was good and so was the food.
